It's taken a while to get around to writing this post, even now whilst typing, it's hard not to shed tears.
On the 26th August, this beautiful Cavapoochon called Ellie went to doggie heaven and left a hole in our hearts.
At just 5 years old, Ellie was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer (after twice having surgery to remove tumours from her stomach previously). The type of cancer was so rare that the animal hospital said they had only seen it in a dog once. They gave Ellie 3-5 months to live.
9 months on, and this little trooper had defied the odds and outlived her diagnosis, still loving life and wagging her tail right to the end. In her final 48 hours she went downhill rapidly and we all knew, including Ellie herself, that it was time. She passed peacefully in our arms with so much love around her.
Ellie was our office dog, she loved the attention from everyone who passed by. She has starred in many of our clients' posts, loving the camera and looking stunningly gorgeous every time.
It's so strange not having her around, but she's at peace now and no longer suffering.
Gone far too soon, but forever loved and in our hearts. ❤️
