WCR is delighted to have been shortlisted for two national awards.

Our soap opera, Together, has been listed in the top four for Arts and Creative Radio at the Community Radio Awards. The soap was written by Rosalind Ambler and Paul Snook, and produced by WCR Director Barry Mole.

The 2024 Warminster Election Hustings, hosted by WCR Station Manager Andrew Robinson, is in the top six for the 2024 General Election coverage category.

The winners will be announced in Cardiff on 16th November.

Station Manager Andrew Robinson said: "We are extremely proud that our radio station has been recognised among the best in the country. It is testament to our wonderful volunteers who put in many hours every week to provide a high-quality, professional sounding radio station for Warminster and the surrounding area."
