As we celebrate our 3rd Christmas as a company, we're thrilled by our growing strength and resilience. Over these past 3 years, we've experimented with various strategies, learning our passions and strengths while refining our direction. We've made tough decisions to let go of certain aspects of our business, enabling us to focus on what we truly love.

Heading into 2024, our enthusiasm is at an all-time high as we aim to engage in multiple feature film projects, including one that will be entirely our creation. Our expertise has expanded beyond film editing to encompass VFX, much to the delight of our clients, and we're excited to showcase more of our work in the coming year.

I'm immensely proud of our team's journey, from our humble beginnings to where we stand now, entering our 4th year. Reflecting on this journey, it's remarkable what two university graduates without business experience, an ex-welder, and an ex-joiner have built—a true powerhouse of a business.

Anticipating the year ahead, I have a feeling that 2024 holds something extraordinary for us.

🎥✨ We are beyond thrilled to share with you some amazing behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos of our recent passion project, "MEAN," beautifully captured by our talented in-house photographer, Tom Blewitt! These snapshots offer a glimpse into the magic that unfolded on set. 📸🎬💡

At Production Haus, we firmly believe in the power of pursuing passion projects. These endeavors allow us to fully immerse ourselves in our love for filmmaking and create art that truly resonates with our creative vision. As a production company, we value the importance of nurturing our artistic vision through these self-driven projects.

"MEAN" holds a special place in our hearts. The script, skillfully written by Ryan Seager provided us with the perfect canvas to bring this captivating story to life. We were fortunate to collaborate with an incredible cast, including the amazing Joe Carmichael, widely known for his hilarious comedy sketches on popular platforms like TikTok and Instagram. We were equally privileged to work once again with the super talented actress Danni Shepherd, whose past collaborations with us have always been a delight. Their performances added depth and authenticity to the characters, elevating the narrative to new heights. We were truly blown away by their talent!

Behind the camera, Joshua Blewitt had the honor of directing "MEAN," working closely with the immensely talented Luke Musharbash, our cinematographer who skillfully captured stunning visuals. The editing process is currently in the capable hands of Will Simpson BFE, ensuring a seamless flow to the story. Their expertise and dedication have been invaluable in shaping the final result.

Participating in passion projects like "MEAN" not only fuels our creativity but also allows us to explore new techniques and expand our skill sets. We firmly believe that the knowledge and experiences gained from these endeavors ultimately enhance the quality of our client projects, enabling us to consistently deliver exceptional results.

As we eagerly work towards completing post-production on "MEAN," we couldn't be prouder of the hard work and dedication exhibited by our team. Each member of our crew, from the talented Heather Platt as Assistant Director to the skilled Harry Green as Assistant Camera Operator, the creative Peter Hemphill as Lighting Technician, the VFX wizard James Carpenter , the meticulous Kurt Tomlinson as Sound Mix, the skilled Thomas Woodhead as Boom Operator, and the dedicated Gabbi Ellis as Runner, contributed their expertise and unwavering commitment to the project. We're also grateful to our in-house photographer, Tom Blewitt, whose incredible eye for detail perfectly captured the essence of each moment.

We've had the pleasure of working on three feature films in post-production during the past 12 months, and two more are currently in the post-production phase. Happy New Year Everyone!🎉

We would just like to say a huge thank you to all our clients that have worked with and supported us over the last year or so, we honestly appreciate you all so much and can't wait to continue building special friendships moving forward. Below are just a few images from some exciting projects last year. 2022 taught us so much when it comes to running a production company, we had some amazing highs and some scary lows, but we wouldn't change it for the world and we're so proud of the journey we're on so far.

Recently, the team here at the studio partnered for the 'Long Covid' Documentary alongside Jonathan Wensley and Calderdale Council. 🎬

This shoot in particular, has been incredibly insightful and informative, focusing on those from a variety of professions: Jennifer, a primary teacher and Marcus, a Business Owner - and how they're dealing with a long-term illness after suffering from COVID and their return to work.

Along with the study of COVID-19's logistics, statistics and research, weeks, months and even years later, under the direction of the Clinical Lecturer, Dr. James Meiring.

Check out our Jingle made for charity, created and sang by the amazing Jenna Fan, it's so cheesy, but it's just Production Haus 😂 From telling bad dad jokes to taking Pianos up hills, we just love making content and seeing the joy it brings to others. Thank you for taking the time to create this brilliant jingle Jenna!

During the hottest 2 days of the year, we shot a variety of videos for Bryn Llewellyn at Plenty of sun cream, water and ice lollies were definitely a necessity!

We were "warmly" welcomed (pun intended) by the Wakefield Methodistschool, who gave us a great filming environment to accompany these interesting educational-explainer videos and, to top it all off, the pupils were genuinely a pleasure to work with.

Since I am a highly hands-on and proactive learner, it was never easy for me to sit still and focus in class as a child. (I haven't been tested, but I may have a little ADHD, too!) It is therefore genuinely amazing to see what Tagtiv8 is achieving with the "move and learn" way of education and undoubtedly something I would have appreciated in school.

Thanks for having us Bryn, it's been a genuine pleasure working with you and another We Are Wakefield collaboration to celebrate.

This time last week, we were filming in a primary school for Jonathan Wensley's ( Beeiit) 'Long Covid' Documentary from Beeiit Ltd.
It's been an extremely enjoyable and educational shoot, learning how COVID-19 has caused some people to live with it permanently rather than just temporarily.

Special thanks to Mungo Sheppard at Ash Green Primary School for assisting the team by providing a safe workspace and catering. Not to mention, as you mentioned, the children were fantastic and not at all camera shy!

In collaboration with Tramway Path, we are extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with their team over the past year, which first started off as projects for Tramway Path's social media, then just over a year later, they brought us back to take their advertisements to the next level. ↗️

A bit of Monday Motivation to kick-start the week ahead🔥.....

In collaboration with Strata, we are delighted to have been apart of their journey by facilitating some amazing videos in our studio (yes, you got that right, all these sets where created in our studio by the fantastic Catherine Blewitt!) Whilst editing them throughout the process 💻

Once the videos were completed, we were invited to Magna Science Adventure Centre in Sheffield to celebrate Strata's presentation on their financial year 🥳🎉

An annual tradition, celebrated by the company, however this year felt even more special as they presented their colleagues with 10 Strata Stories showcasing their employees; suppliers and home owners incredible journey from being with Strata Homes💫

The Team here at Production Haus feel honoured to have been apart of this experience, sharing visions and creativity, with a special mention to Marcos Avlonitis, Rob Moore, Fearn Kate Liston and to the rest of the Strata Team🎬
