Recording and Mix Engineer based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Corey Moore is a Music Producer and Recording/Mixing Engineer operating out of Laurel House Studios - Wakefield. The studio offers a comfortable and unique workspace based around an ex BBC Calrec S2 desk with quality outboard which provides a warm, natural but exclusive sound for your recordings. Growing up around music, Corey quickly took to learning the drums, before venturing into playing with

bands in his early teens. During this time, he found his passion for recording, which resulted in his and his bands first studio recording effort at age 16. Since then, he has gone on to graduate with a BSc Popular Music Production degree from the University of Huddersfield. During his placement year, Corey interned at The Chairworks Studios - Castleford, where he worked as a runner and studio assistant, earning credits as Assistant Engineer to Skindred's 'Kill The Power' alongside James Loughrey, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott's 'What Have We Become' and Marmozets' 'The Weird And Wonderful', for which he provided Assistant Tracking Engineer duties for drums. During this time, Corey primarily worked alongside Producer/Engineer James Mottershead, providing editing and Assistant Engineer duties for bands such as Let's Away and Fizzy Blood and labels including Double Cross Records, Roadrunner Records, Virgin EMI and Sky On Fire.

Big-up everyone that’s worked with me this year! Whether I’ve been behind the kit, or telling you to tune your guitar between takes, the experience of the last 12 months has been incredibly gratifying. My portfolio continues to grow and I’m excited for the projects I’m currently working on into the new year.

Next year should see my new private project studio come to fruition - something I’ve been dreaming about for the last few years. I aim to make it a space where we can focus on creativity and experimentation and hopefully, somewhere where we can make some PROPER. ZINGERS.

The boys in have released IDC today with ! I approached the lads a few months back in the hopes I could swoon them into working with me - fortunately it paid off and I couldn’t be more honoured to work on their music. It’s RIGHT up my street. So, Jake, Sol, Skinner and Ben - a massive heartfelt Thankyou for allowing me aboard for the ride and trusting me to facilitate your creative energy. Here’s to some more laughs in the studio 🤟🏻

"Bleach" was recently released by and we had such a blast putting this track together. Incredibly happy with how this turned out considering it’s both my first proper dive into EDM and we did it across the pond! Massive shoutout to Sun for trusting a random geezer from Yorkshire with her ideas, of which there are many! Here’s to some more tracks from us in the near future! 🤟🏻

Had a top Drum session at the other day. The aim was to get a Beatles-esque drum sound for .gabanizza and Jeff Christie’s next single and I think we just about met the brief!

Simon (the lovely chap behind the kit) is someone who I grew up watching play as he was/is a long time collaborator with my Dad over a multitude of projects. Recording him was a great pleasure and served as a reminder that he’s very much part of my drumming DNA. Hard hitter, steady and serves the song perfectly. 🤟🏻

My Pals in released their latest single on Monday which I had the pleasure of Producing, Engineering and Mixing. It’s the first of a bunch of tracks we started work on earlier in the year and arguably one of my favourites.

Working with them in particular is one of my favourite parts of this "job", they just exude energy in the best way possible. Joe always manages to make the hairs on my neck stand up when they’re behind the mic. They can go from one extreme to the other without breaking a sweat and it’s a joy to see so much passion being poured into their music. I love this band.

Massive shoutout to and who are both part of this hearty, tasty sonic soup.

I’ve Been hitting the tubs for on a couple shows. Totally out of my regular ball-park, but fu***ng well enjoyable no less. I’ve been working with this band since they were fresh out of college, so having the opportunity to play some of the songs I helped produce was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, even if it was out of my comfort zone! Big up the lads and cheers for having faith in me 😁
