Corey Moore is a Music Producer and Recording/Mixing Engineer operating out of Laurel House Studios - Wakefield. The studio offers a comfortable and unique workspace based around an ex BBC Calrec S2 desk with quality outboard which provides a warm, natural but exclusive sound for your recordings. Growing up around music, Corey quickly took to learning the drums, before venturing into playing with
bands in his early teens. During this time, he found his passion for recording, which resulted in his and his bands first studio recording effort at age 16. Since then, he has gone on to graduate with a BSc Popular Music Production degree from the University of Huddersfield. During his placement year, Corey interned at The Chairworks Studios - Castleford, where he worked as a runner and studio assistant, earning credits as Assistant Engineer to Skindred's 'Kill The Power' alongside James Loughrey, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott's 'What Have We Become' and Marmozets' 'The Weird And Wonderful', for which he provided Assistant Tracking Engineer duties for drums. During this time, Corey primarily worked alongside Producer/Engineer James Mottershead, providing editing and Assistant Engineer duties for bands such as Let's Away and Fizzy Blood and labels including Double Cross Records, Roadrunner Records, Virgin EMI and Sky On Fire.
