Providing support during pregnancy, birth and postnatally.
I am a recognised birth doula working throughout Cornwall. I have felt drawn to birth work for many years and believe that every mother should feel informed, empowered and supported during their pregnancy, birth and the precious days and weeks following the arrival of their baby. I am recognised through Doula UK (https://doula.org.uk/doula/claire-davies/)
I currently co-run a free mother’s group in my local town, Wadebridge, with another doula. We also run quarterly mother’s retreat’s focusing on self care and providing a safe and nurturing space to open up, relax and find some space.
I am a Community Elder for the South West for Doulas Without Borders, a grassroots agency providing free birth services for women experiencing all types of vulnerabilty, including, but not limited to, sexual abuse, domestic violence, mental health issues, trafficking, financial problems etc. (www.doulaswithoutborders.com)
I am passionate about providing a non-judgemental, safe space for women to feel held and supported though pregnancy, birth and beyond.
