My 8 year old daughter really enjoys attending the classes each week. They are taught a variety of different aspects of film making and each one are given the opportunity to try different things.
The teachers are knowledgeable and make each session enjoyable. It has increased my daughter's confidence in working in a group setting and alone where required. Brilliant opportunity for children to be creative and develop new skills.

Great film making club. My daughter and her friends love it. They say the teachers let them be creative. They have learnt a range of techniques from professional film makers They have a chance to use them on their end of term film which that they have full control over. They produce a short film and use their imagination and newly acquired skills. Over the course they learn all sorts of things and get to do various activities from planning and storyboarding a film, locating hunting, editing and film tips and tricks. Thank you so much

AND ...That's a Wrap for this term.. the Sparks students took their final shots for their film.."the Medicine game " based on this terms theme Screen Legends...

Next week we will start pitching for the main film that will be made in next 5 weeks !

Sparks Uxbridge Director.-Jag Rana.. at the BAFTA preview of Thor Love and Thunder. This is even before the official premiere! Got to meet some of the cast including Natlaie Portman .. from the Star wars films played Princess Amadala !

My son attended the Easter holiday camp. He didn't know anyone attending with him so was a little apprehensive beforehand however there were lots of warm up activities and he got to know everyone very quickly. He can be a bit reserved if he doesn't know people but the leaders got all children participating including presenting and directing others. Our son learnt a lot of presentation, leadership and collaboration skills without realising as he was focussing on the creative aspects. We were impressed how all the children worked together, learnt to pitch their ideas to each other and created the film as a group. He really enjoyed learning about camera angles and why they're used and is now able to point this out when watching his favourite films. The end film is a lovely memento of the camp and it was great to have the behind the scenes movie as well.
