NEXT EPISODE OUT WEDNESDAY

We had the great pleasure of speaking to again for our new episode of Two Lines in Doctors: Redux. In a park. Well, the weather was nice and people were playing tennis.

John was on Two Lines in Doctors very early on where he talked about his journey from lawyer to actor. And now he's back.

You may recognise John from his various roles including 'Journalist' in Emmerdale, 'Passenger' in Gentleman Jack, 'Ruth's Husband' in Last Tango in Halifax, 'Paramedic' in The Other One, 'Cop 1' in Brassic and 'Journalist 1' in Coronation Street. Never been on Doctors though.

However, he is also a writer, director and documentarian who has built up a large body of work over the past two years. We talk about all these parts of his career, he tells us about his first, last and best acting parts and he tries to get to the top of the leader board in 'Jason Statham or Jason Greeneggsandham'.

Does he manage it? Find out on Wednesday.

Great morning yesterday interviewing John Tueart for the next episode. In a park. An actual park. Not as strange as it sounds but as strange as it looks.

Acting, directing, writing and Jason Stathaming. Did he better Ross Grant's points score on Jason Statham or Jason Greeneggsandham? Find out next week.

Two Lines in Doctors is back, back, back baby.

This week we travelled all the way to Urmston to speak to Ross Grant of Act on This about how his business coped during lockdown and beyond.

We also asked him the 'contentious question' and he plays the very first round of Jason Statham or Jason Greeneggsandham.

Coming Soon.

Two Lines in Doctors is coming back!

After two years on the sidelines, we've decided to take the dustsheets off the microphones, blow the cobwebs off the editing suite and do some recording.

We don't yet know what direction it will go in. But as soon as we do, we'll let you know.

And one day, so may those Two Lines.

Hi all.

Going to archive this page as times move on and every Tom, Dick and Harriet has a podcast now. It was an absolute blast. Thank you to everybody that listened and all the guests who came on. I may still not have those Two Lines in Doctors. But one day. Soon.

About “Two Lines in Doctors”

Two Lines in Doctors is a podcast recorded and presented by Steve Connolly.

The title of the podcast comes from a conversation that Steve was involved in when he worked at a company where the majority of the staff are creatives. During a round table discussion as to what everyone wanted to do next in their acting careers, some said a West End show, some said break Hollywood and some said to appear “there”, pointing at the Lowry Theatre which was across the road. Steve thought carefully and said “Right now, I’d take two lines in Doctors”.

Steve has yet to appear in Doctors.

Steve Connolly is an actor. He was raised in Urmston in Manchester and spent quite a bit of his childhood in school plays, usually as a female as he went to an all boys school and had nice legs. He also appeared in Gang Shows when he was in scouts, usually as a female as the cast was all male and he had nice legs.
