Kickstart your working day with these 5 mood-boosting tips that will unlock creativity...

1- Create an inspiring desk space 🌟

Turn off the bright lights in your office and light a scented candle or hang some fairy lights. Consider creating a vision board or peg board and hang up things that make you smile or inspire you. Having an inspiring desk space can significantly impact your productivity, creativity, and overall well-being.

2- Ditch screens, dive into a book 📚

Grab a CEO/entrepreneurial book, a fluffy blanket, a cuppa. We are so easily tempted to spend our breaks scrolling social media, so swap the screens for books and be inspired and challenged by other successful business owners. Especially good if you work on a screen all day!

3- Embrace nature for deeper thoughts 🌿

Pop on your big coat and enjoy the fresh air. Look around you and take in the beautiful plants starting to re-grow and producing new life (crocuses and daffodils are out at the moment!). Use this time to process your thoughts, slow down your mind and take in the nature all around you. It's amazing how many epic business ideas come into your head when you make space for them!

4- Get crafty, make thank-you gifts 🎁

Getting creative allows us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovation. It gives us the space to think outside the box, sit down and slow down. Try a new skill such as flower arranging, candle making or card making. Send these cards or pressies to your team or clients to show your appreciation. It's nice to use our hands for things other than typing!

5- Host a brunch brainstorm 🍳

We're potentially feeling the pinch after the tax return, so rather than going out to another restaurant, invite over your work besties over for a wholesome, hearty and homemade meal using seasonal food and factor in a creative strategy session. Save your money, put your brains together and enjoy hanging out IRL!

For ages I didn't post on social media because I was worried about the lack of likes on my posts.

But, after digging into it, I realised that 'likes' are good, but what is better is producing meaningful content that RESONATES with people or EDUCATES with people or provides VALUE to them.

With this in mind, I wanted to show up for my wonderful audience and make it about them, not about me.
