The new Panasonic Lumix GH7 is here!

In the lead up to the announcement of this new camera, I decided to put together a little film idea that I've wanted to do for a while. With only a few days to spare, it was a tall order, but we made it happen.

The piece is a tribute to both the incredible talent I'm blessed to have all around me, as well as a special man from across the pond. Featuring a powerful (and timely) message that couldn't be more apt today, more than 60+ years later. A poignant message about the power of art to bring people together in times of crisis.

Awesome to have been involved in yet another KB Banger. Kris had a cool idea for this video and a lot of hard work went into pulling it off. Shooting in the rain, in the woods at night was....fun 😂

A little bit of festive cheer! Here's the Christmas themed commercial created for my good friends at Circle, Topsham.

With this ad, we wanted to create something that shows the amazing community David and Faye have managed to achieve at their shop, and in such a short amount of time. A real achievement in this day and age! Community is so important to every single one of us, but it’s probably never been more under threat. So that’s what we were going for with this little story. Not only showing what they do, but what’s important to them too.

I decided to send my ‘1917’ recreation video to the living legend that is Sir Roger Deakins, the movie’s cinematographer and probably my single biggest source of cinematic inspiration ever. This morning I woke up to a response from Roger himself, which is just incredible really. Thanks for the insight Roger! 🙌

I was privileged to recently try out the new Mercury anamorphic lenses by Atlas Lens Co. and paired them up with the new S5IIX. I only had the kit for a few days but managed to put this little piece together. Massive thanks to Lumix UK, Atlas across the pond, and my good friends the Bish family for allowing me to make a subject out of them. Featuring a poignant message from the legendary Alan Watts. Merry Christmas all! 🙌🏻

It's been a pretty manic end to the year with much to catch up on. But as it's Christmas, and I haven't shared anything wedding related for quite some time, I thought I'd share a little preview of James & Lizzie's winter wedding that took place just a couple of days before Christmas Day.

A big Congratulations to Lizzie & James and a massive thanks to them for having me. What a day it was and I wish you both all the very best. And I must say, as a proud Cornishman myself, those Celtic vibes are very very much up my street! Proper job guys🔥

Finally, a big thanks to Xiomara Crystal for allowing me the privilege of using her incredible music in this piece. It's a masterpiece and just what I needed. Go check out the talent guys and please give her some love!

We struck lucky that evening in Janner Town, where it usually rains a lot 😂. It allowed us to get the shot inspired by the rooftop scene in ‘The Batman’ that I wanted badly for this piece.
The GH6 shooting ProRes RAW allowed me to push colours around and get pretty close, swapping Gotham for Plymouth, and ‘the volume’ for the real world, of course 😂
The 75mm Mars anamorphic lens from is a beaut. And the Ninja’s desqueeze function made things a breeze shooting anamorphic.

Our latest firmware V2.0 for the LUMIX GH6 is now available.

Working together with .global, the new firmware enables the output of up to 5.8K / 29.97p and C4K / 119.88p RAW video data over HDMI to be recorded
as Apple ProRes RAW on ATOMOS NINJA V and NINJA V+ devices.

Download it for free from the LUMIX Global Customer Support website.

Very pleased to share my latest film, 'THE STAGE', produced in collaboration with Lumix UK and Atomos, to promote the ProRes RAW update for the GH6 and Ninja V/V+.

Massive thanks to them for getting me involved and needless to say the footage that comes out of this kit combo is absolute 🔥

For this project, I decided to create a short piece about a certain Mr Kris Barras of the Kris Barras Band, providing a brief insight into his journey from the cage to the stage.

It's a cool story, he's a great talent and super creative, so it made total sense to make a little piece about him. Working with Kris is always a joy too so I really enjoyed this one.

There's a full Behind The Scenes / Making Of feature coming shortly, so keep an eye out for that if you like a bit of filmmaking geekery.

As always a massive thanks goes to everyone involved and all those that made it possible.
