Having spent a lot of her time in Cornwall where many of her stories are based, Carol now lives in Shropshire with her illustrator husband Glenn. About the illustrator: A successful freelance illustrator, sculptor, painter, writer and children's TV designer.

NEW FUND FRIDAY!!

The number of good causes and community groups benefitting from the North Kesteven Community Lottery is set to expand.

Lincolnshire Community Foundation and North Kesteven District Council continue to work together distributing the NKDC Lottery Fund.

Priority will be given to smaller, local, volunteer led community groups requesting help to deliver projects and/or activities for and on behalf of the community.

Creators of children's fiction and picture books. About the author: Carol Young's experience in early years education has brought out a natural talent for writing story telling. Having spent a lot of her time in Cornwall where her Shipmates stories are based, Carol loves the coast and all things Cornish. She has a good sense of humour and likes to make her books educational and fun.

About the illustrator: Glenn Young a successful freelance illustrator, sculptor, painter, writer and children's TV designer. A ‘big kid’ at heart Glenn has always enjoyed creating wonderful illustrations which enthral our younger readers.
