🐶 Recently completed website 🐕 Loved creating a dog services website, and small business support for an amazing young lady building her business 🤗

To anyone who knows Humphrey they will appreciate how much of a positive big deal was!

I set up and ran Tadcaster News on social media for 7 years to support the Tadcaster community and local businesses. I stopped pre-covid, but still get asked about the page today - very proud of what we covered and the positive impact it achieved ❤️

Supporting local business in 2017 when Tadcaster Bridge re-opened after 18 months of being closed following the floods! Was a fabulous community day! 🙌
...Not that we want another flood to bring the community together! 😬

Gosh I haven't shared clients stats in forever!! 🤭 However please note I've been reviewing and working with analytics before this post in 2017, and since 😅

When presented with stats it's worth learning how to read them in real terms.

i.e you could be presented with a massive reach which seems wonderful...but consider the profile first, why would someone follow them, was it organic or paid for (because anyone can improve reach if paid for!). But most importantly the % ratio or reach to engagement is a true reflection on the quality of posts and effectiveness.

Don't just spend time and money on reaching tons of people if they're not interacting with you. Rethink your strategy and purpose :)

The following stats are for a local page with 3'000 followers, reach is all organic - nothing paid for, just fabulous amount of effort put into the posts. Boosting posts would substantially increase reach, % conversion with engagement would reduce but still expect it to be relatively good, depending on demographic reach set.

With my retainer clients I cover more than just digital marketing. I do love working events, and especially when it's with such a fab bunch!

Working with the York Lifestyle group members at the first ever Living North Magazine Spring shows - when 4 of the businesses were also my clients - 3 still are 🫶

Plus I worked freelance with Living North on some consultancy to improve local market presence and readership.
