Here we go! England travel to Dublin on Saturday and here is some key info for fans making the trip.
𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠
We’d normally, and sometimes jokingly advise where the Irish bar is wherever we travel, however for this one, forgive us if we don’t list them all…
Many fans are likely to head to the Temple Bar area of Dublin, but there are plenty of places and plenty of bars all around the city that you can visit. There are plenty of different cuisines available too. You certainly won’t struggle.

Whilst in the city, you can get around mostly on foot, but there are buses, trams and taxis available. The Uber app works here, connecting you with a local company.
From the airport, there is the Dublin Express bus service that runs to the city roughly every 20 mins, this takes about 30 mins, and a taxi can cost around €30-35.

England fans are housed in the north end of the stadium, and England fans should be accessing the stadium via Bath Avenue (see the map below). You can walk to the stadium from the Temple Bar area in around 45 mins. Getting here by train isn’t ideal, but if you do find yourself on the dart train, you should use Grand Canal Dock station, not Lansdowne Road.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦
The stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kick-off. There will be an initial ticket check followed by the usual body search. There are eight turnstiles available for England fans, however these are all located together, so expect some queuing.
The concourse is quite long, albeit slightly narrow. We expect alcohol to be served however this could change. Power banks are allowed, no bigger than your phone.
You may notice upon entry to the seating area that the seating numbers are a little confusing, for example seat 26 is next to seat 3. If you use the access on your ticket, turn left when you enter the seating area for your block.
It is yet to be determined if there will be a hold back, but if there is one it could be up to 45 mins. Toilets and concessions should still be available for use.
There will be a small area designated for fans wishing to sit down for this game in the corner, so please don’t disrupt this.

If able, you can walk back to the city centre. Trains are likely to be busy from the stadium and none go near the Temple Bar area.
For fans heading straight to the airport, it’s around 30 minutes in a taxi and getting one near the stadium may be difficult, so plan in advance.

Flags are allowed, although space is somewhat limited. Any flags above 2x1.5m will be checked on entry and must have a fire label, as per the EURO 2024 set up. Bags no bigger than A4 are permitted and there is no bag storage at the ground.

England fans will have the option to collect your ticket from the Hilton Garden Inn Dublin City Centre on Thursday 5th (16:00-19:30) and Friday 6th September (10:00-20:00), and at the Grand Canal hotel near the stadium on Matchday (08:30-16:00).
This was the same process and same hotels as back in 2015.

The Fans’ Embassy will be up and running on Friday 6th September and on matchday, Saturday 7th September.
We will be located near Temple Bar next to the O’Connell Bridge, on the corner of Westmoreland Street and Aston Quay and Fitzgerald’s Bar.
