People have been asking what routine I did to qualify for the DMCs so here it is! This is my flip of Gold Digger by Kanye West. Nothing but juggling in this video but I flip it hard - even ending up in drum and bass! This is a great beat to juggle with because it has a kick, kick-kick, snare drum sequence which gives you so many options to juggle with. You can do standard stuff on the one and two, slow down, chase, double time, all sorts. I felt like i’d levelled up when I recorded this. I’m gonna put all of these juggle patterns into tutorials too. Let me know the timestamp of your favourite pattern 🫡

⚠️ Want to scratch really fast? I've got a challenge for the scratch DJs out there that I am calling #speedscratchchallenge ❓ How much faster can I get by Christmas? More importantly, how much faster can you get by Christmas? 👑 Whether you like it or not, speed is a power move in scratch battles. The DJs in this video are some of the best in the world but, to get there, some of them practice 5 hours per day! WTF. I'd never be able to do that and I suspect most of you could never do that either. However, I DON'T THINK YOU NEED TO. And I want to prove it! Check the video for more info and for free access to learning content to help you prove it too.

So here it is! The routine I performed at the DMC UK Final. The concept here is that the turntable is an instrument and this is a mockumentary narrated by David Attenborough about turntablist culture. If you’ve ever been a turntablist, or a DJ, the ending will make you laugh 😂 Especially as I’m probably the first DJ to ever drop that track at the DMC. Enjoy!
