BREAKING: will not make compulsory redundancies this academic year.

94% of the £19.7m targeted savings have been made.

Principal Boyne says he is "confident" that the remaining 6% will be saved.

However, the future structure of Professional Services remains unclear.

Staff in UniPrint, which is earmarked for closure, will be "redeployed", thoug University Secretary Tracey Slaven noted a lack of redeployment opportunities. Will these staff be made redundant?
