I'm fishing content creator with the sole goal to inspire people to make dream fishing trips a reality. Breaking the stigma that big game fishing is exclusive to the wealthy. My History:
Fishing obsessed for as long as I can remember and pursued a career with fish. Gaining a BSc in fishery management and aquaculture from Sparsholt college. Since graduation, I've been a fishing guide at the worlds

best freshwater fisheries. Most notable achievements being; Breaking the Catmaster company record for the most fish guided in a week on the Rio Ebro (Spain) within 5 months. Guiding 350lb+ Arapaima at Gillhams Fishing Resort (Thailand) on work experience. Started a fishing YouTube channel in 2018 to share my fishing adventures and was employed by a production company as head of fishing production for a wild foods program Fishing The Wild aired on the Outdoor Channel in America in 2022. Now I have turned my focus on producing my own content at A Fisherman's Adventure across social media to catch the worlds most renown game fish on camera on low budget productions.

My fishing over the last 4 days has been something from my wettest of dreams. Two sessions for perch resulted in 6 fish and 3 over 3lbs out the canal. Then the past two after work overnight carp sessions at the club water has resulted in 9 carp landed, 3 over the 20lb mark and my first 30lb carp in three years! Which in my opinion is the best looking king carp I’ve ever caught. Hoping this luck continues so I’ve got a lottery ticket and redownloaded tinder 🤞🏼🍀

After 3 years I have finally edited the trip in which I caught my ultimate bucket list fish. Following the footsteps left by MorningTide Fishing I ventured to other side of the world in pursuit of the ultimate game fish, on lures and off the rocks. There will be a extended cut dropping at Xmas too. For now this is the fishy action I filmed during my highlight trip of the COVID cursed year in Australia.

I, like so many have watched the horrific footage of the start of a modern war and another refugee crisis unfold on the news before my very eyes in the matter of weeks. I feel powerless in the grand schemes of retaliation against Russia and how I could possibly do anything? I then realised it will be the small sacrifices we can all make to help the people immediately affected by the fall out of war which is the best focus of our energy.

So instead of my scheduled annual family surf holiday to North Devon. On Friday 25th March (2 days time), Elliot and I will be embarking on a 2300 mile round to deliver a truck load of essential aid donations to Poland. We will complete the journey in 3 days taking rotation on driving stints arriving back in England late afternoon Sunday. We would like to invite our friends, families and Facebook communities the opportunity to contribute and join us on this journey by donating to the go fund me link below. These donations will go to cover the costs of the trip (estimated £800 in fuel alone 👀👀👀) and all excess will be donated to a Ukrainian Relief Charity. A tricky lower itchen perch was my first fish of the new river season but the fish that followed was one of a life time. Leaning over a road guard rail. I was drifting a 2” easy shiner on a 1.5g tungsten cheb and size 1 weedless hook into a deep hole, in a fast narrow run. And I hooked into something solid. Heavy head shakes and a flash of silver, I whaled to @0nly___fins “BIG sea trout”. He come to my aid with net full extended and witnessed the madness unfold. Using my light perch rod (1-7g benki) bent double and screaming runs I slowly coax the fish closer. Keeping it out from the undercut of the bank and sure demise. Up pops into the head of the flow my first ever Atlantic Salmon. We couldn’t believe our eyes but knew the fight was over, it had to end. It was the hottest day of the year and with southern chalk stream salmon being endangered, handling it would reduce it chance of survival. Martin skilfully unhooked it with the net and it was away to continue its journey.
