📽️ RAVE ON FOR THE AVON (12A)
📅 Thursday 16th January @ 6pm

Do humans have the right to nature?

In this tender film, Director Charlotte Sawyer tells a story of a community of wild swimmers in Bristol (UK) affected by raw sewage pollution of the river Avon.

England is one of the only two countries in the world to have a fully privatised water and sewage disposal system, and with only 14% of English rivers in good ecological health, the mission to keep the rivers clean is not going well.

D&CFilm

Since 2006 D&CFilm has been covering all aspects of film.

We've organised film festivals, sponsored film awards and spend hours in darkened rooms. We've watched mind-expanding drama, touching and tender romance, world-hopping sci fi, and much more besides.

Our favourite films are the gems that can sometimes get missed.

Check out the site for stories and if you've got a film to share, please drop us a line.
