If you’re looking for a new book to pick up, how about ‘The Nesting Place’ by Jacqueline Harrett - Author, the 1st novel of the DI Mandy Wilde series!

Two voices – one author. Janet Laugharne and Jacqueline Harrett coauthored their debut novel, What Lies Between Them, published by Dixi Books in 2022, as well as stories in anthologies and online. What Lies Between Them is one woman’s struggle to deal with her past while juggling the demands of work and a dying parent. The setting is a fictional university in Cardiff.
They also write and publish individually. Jacqueline has three crime novels published by Diamond Books UK. The Nesting Place, The Whispering Trees and With Grave Consequences are police procedurals set in Cardiff with DI Mandy Wilde the maverick detective.
Janet’s debut poetry collection, Greenscapes… and other poems was published by erbacce press after it came runner up for the erbacce poetry Prize which attracted over 15,000 entries.
