The Sweet Bee is Kingsthorpe is a sweet shop that supports young people with special educational needs to learn about the world of retail.

John caught up with Debbie from the Sweet Bee at a recent event. Debbie talks to John about how the young people are supported, how they also work with local organsiations such as the Royal & Derngate and The Lewis Foundation and the great sense of achievement gained by working in the shop.

Over the weekend T's Coffee Pitsford held a local produce and craft fair. John went along to find out more and talk to some of the stallholders.

Bands in the Park happen each Sunday between 14:00 - 17:00 at the bandstand in Abington Park and are organised by Northampton Town Council.

Sunday saw Rushden Mission Band perform to the crowds. After their performance, John spoke to Martin their Music Director.

They discuss how Martin began as a musicisn, how a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) set him on a course to being a Musical Director and where to find the band performing.
