Weekend filled with some of my favourite things!

The kitchen isn’t quite as tidy as this atm.. it’s been a busy weekend.

We went to two seaside towns, had lots of fish n chips and mr.whippys!

Did you know in America Mr.Whippys don’t exist!! My mom was very excited to have one 🤣

We also went to visit a horse and animal sanctuary. A lot of the animals are up for adoption.. so do you think Anthony would allow me to have a couple goats? 😆

Beautiful summer evenings are my favourite…
Insulating the conservatory was one of the best things we’ve done. I sit in this room the most. Not too hot and not too cold.

Also- can we please stop and appreciate this gorgeous vase from 😍

I’ve been waiting for it to come back into stock! I also bought the white star flower bouquet from their shop as well. What do you think? Do we likey?

The artex ceiling is gone! ➡️swipe!
No longer do I have to take photos of my living room from weird angles to hide it 🤣

It’s still drying and will take another day or so before I can paint it and get everything back into place.

It looks like a tornado went through my kitchen. Armchairs, tv, bookshelf, rug… pretty much everything is in there and I’m starting to feel twitchy 😅

Things are starting to take shape in the living room! (the room that is least shown on my grid)

I am waiting on a few quotes from a plasterer to skim the ceiling. I have 11 weeks before the new sofas arrive so I’m hoping that’s plenty of time! Eek!

I’ve changed a few things up in this room and I can’t believe what a difference it makes.

I swapped out our big bulky (but still beautiful) coffee table with this delicate circular one. It honestly makes the room feel so much bigger!! andddd because it doesn’t have drawers it stops me from accumulating junk in here 🤦🏼‍♀️

I also swapped out the rug! I decided to go for a brighter, lower pile neutral rug. Again, it just makes everything feel more calm and bigger!

The black sofas aren’t ideal but I honestly don’t think they look too bad for now. I’ve squished them together to make one long sofa which will be similar to the one we are buying.

New post on the IG this morning. Made my little mood board come to life! :)
The floors, paint and crown moulding were all re purposed from the renovations in the dining room and bathroom.
Furniture is IKEA ( super inexpensive - win), the chair is from the old office and the plants and decor are bits and pieces I had around the house that needed a home!
