Popped into Three Counties Spirits Co yesterday to pick up one of ther flight boxes. Jumped right in with the dark spiced and just a splash of Coke, which was very good.
This afternoon, it's the Tangerine over ice, also very good :-)

I've tried other rums that were supposed to be great and have been disappointed before, but these are exactly what they say they are.

I may have had a small sneaky taste of the others too, but they can stay in their bottles until next weekend.

And the best thing of all, they are made around a mile away from where I live so extra points for sustainability and buying local 😀

Any rum drinking friends, I can definitely recommend trying these!

A bit of show prep, lots of new music coming your way this Sunday evening from 7pm on including tracks from and so many more. From 8pm we head into the classic 80's soul with a splash of northern, hour 3 has your reggae selection from 9pm as well as more classics and a couple from this week..... all in all, a pretty nice selection of soul and reggae to close off your weekend, even if I say so myself :-)
And if you can stay up until midnight, Paul Gray continues the soul vibes from 10pm with Soul Stew.

How is everyone doing in this heat!

Well, it may be cooling down over the next few days and into next week but on Sunday from 7pm on we continue to keep the heat on in the form of 3 hours of great soul and reggae.

New and recent music this week from alongside , who happens to be in MK this week for SMK, , and a whole host of other artists during the first hour. As always, many thanks to and for keeping me in the loop with the new releases.

Plenty of 80s classics in hour 2, as well as a splash of Northern Soul, your reggae selection included in hour 3 and, after me, continuing the soul vibe until midnight, Paul Gray with Soul Stew.

Just back from a weekend at the Blackpool International Soul Festival and, due to issues with accessibility for my wife, and some sound issues, this will probably be our last weekend up here.
It's a shame that my post was deleted from the page I also got kicked off the page on my personal profile, let me just say, I have the utmost respect for and the team, but things weren't right and they need to change, and deleting posts and hiding feedback that you don't agree with is not the way forward.
I wish the festival all the best for the future, I hope feedback is listened to but, as I have been booted off the page, it's hard to keep an eye on and know whether we should return or not.
