🌊🎨 LEADERFINS DESIGN INITIATIVE - CALLING ALL CREATIVES! 🎨🌊

Are you passionate about protecting our oceans and seas? Or maybe you want to represent your country or association in a unique and artistic way? Now’s your chance! We're excited to announce the Leaderfins design initiative in partnership with Apneapassion Magazine - Spearfishing.

The British Spearfishing Association and Southwest Spearfishing. pages are taking design applications on behalf of the UK.

Here’s your opportunity to create a custom fin design around these key themes:

🌍 Ecological/Ocean & Sea Respect and Protection
🎨 Your Association’s Logo & Colours
🏳️ Your Country's Colours/Flag

What’s at stake?
🌟 International recognition as a top designer in your category
🏆 Winners will receive a pair of custom fins featuring their winning designs!

Categories:

• Best Ecological Design

• Best British Spearfishing Association Design

• Best Country Colours/Flag Design (1 winner per country)

How to Participate:

• By 18 October 2024: Submit your design (EPS, JPG, PNG, or PDF format with 120-300 DPI resolution, 22cm x 85cm size), to the BSA page or Southwest Spearfishing page.

• By 10 November 2024: Winners will be selected based on the most likes received on Apneapassion’s Facebook and Instagram posts.

• By 17 November 2024: The winners will be announced in a dedicated article in Apneapassion’s magazine.

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your creativity with your love of the ocean. We can't wait to see what you come up with! 🌊💙

Another fantastic annual Dorset Open event! Thank you to everyone that helped me organise the event and with assistance on the day!

This was our biggest one yet, 30 divers in the water and 34 to the BBQ. We were blessed with amazing conditions on the day, flat calm water. It was very fishy and there were a lot of fish landed. One of them a 2.63kg Bonito, a new British Record. Congrats to Cristian on your new record.

Dave Stepehens won this year for a second time in a row, congrats Dave! And although it's a friendly club comp we had some incredible prizes from a ton of epic sponsors! Thank you all for your support and look forward to working with you next year!

Great club dive yesterday with the BSA Dorset Spearfishing club. I got a po***ck which I gave away, then headed off with Dan Newman for a second dive, scouting some area for the Dorset Open event. Great day yesterday spent with friends 🙌

So finally a break in the weather after 3 months of endless storms we have had a week of calm!

Set out this evening for an hour dip, to stretch the lungs out and get ready for the busy season ahead!

What a cracking start to the early season taking the gladius 95 out for its first test drive!

Water temp a lovely 11 degrees and cloudy vis of 5-6m.

First time firing the gun smacked this 62cm bass!

Ended the dive nicely with a respectable flounder on the sand.

Not long and the season will be in full swing!
