The London Concours (no longer 'of Elegance') is celebrating the pop-up headlight. A Lancia Stratos, Lotus Elan, Lamborghini Miura and Maserati Ghibli SS will feature. No mention of the Mazda MX-5, Fiat X1/9, Triumph TR7, etc, etc… Just as worthy, I would have said.

Mazda MX-5 RS going into production!

Under the cover of much rotary discussion at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon, Mazda quietly lifted the cover on a couple of concepts under the Spirit Racing brand featuring a couple of track-focused cars.

The show concept features Rays Alloys, Recaro bucket seats with racing harness and also features Alcantara interior, body kit and exhaust modifications.

In addition to special edition vehicles Mazda Spirit Racing will launch a range of merchandise, including watches, aimed at Mazda motorsports enthusiasts.

Nice to be back at Vincent's Motor Works (formerly Cleverley's, as you can see from the sign). Went in for an MoT and Vince fixed up my blocked washer jets, too. Hopefully next visit the weather will be better and the roads less muddy.

Like nothing else I’ve yet seen done to a mk4. Not my cup of tea, but you’ve got to admire the effort.
