Crowborough based artist Olivia Piper was in the studio today, a couple of different versions of the same song recorded with some beautiful harmonies too!
Sounded great through the 610 tube pre amp and Blue Kiwi mic.

We had a lot of fun recording Neils very nice Gibson Flying V this week for some tracks by the band Point Taken. It sounded great through the Rivera amp!

I've been using the Neumann KM184 stereo set to record Acoustic Guitar and Piano recently. A really great sounding set of mics, so pleased with them, especially through the Neve 1073 pre amps!

Recording some vinyl records today through the Neve 1073 pre amps, with a bit of Neve EQ too. Then some sorcery from iZotope RX-10 to remove vinyl pops and clicks. Amazing stuff!

John Cunnigham back in the studio today we finished off one of his songs after adding BVs using the Rode NTK mic and some ‘Bluey’ 1176 style compression. Drum kit under wraps to stop resonances.

Mic’d up the smallest amp I’ve had in the studio yesterday. Surprisingly big sound once recorded though!

Rack wiring done, “Time circuits on Marty!” Neve 1073DPX stereo pre amp now fully wired into the studio, looking forward to doing more recording through it.
