On the 19 October 2020, I first shared with you all that More Musicals would be hitting the airwaves. Now 402 days later, the show is taking an indefinite break.
Here at 8pm Thursday night, when we would've been listening to that intro music together, I just wanted to make sure I thanked all of you for your support one last time. Everyone who listened, requested songs, shared the page, enjoyed the quizzes, came on as a guest or were a part of the More Musicals clan, you were part of something really special.
The messages I've received since last week's final programme showed me what a difference the show made for some of you during the last year. I'm truly grateful for all your comments.
Perhaps one day the show will return in some form but until then, please keep supporting our local theatre companies and artists by buying tickets and joining their ranks, keep singing your favourite tunes and support K107 FM, without whom none of this would have happened.
Thank you, you're all amazing. It's been a joy to share 114 hours with you.
