Cox Green Focus dropping through your letter box in the next week or so.
If you can help us get stories directly from the Adminstration, and how they impact Cox Green, to the people of Cox Green then let us know.
About an hour, every few months. Great excuse to get out and get those steps up.
Wessex Way Waste
After months of hand wringing about the overflowing waste at Wessex Way, the introduction of a third bin and the subsequent removal of two bins, RBWM have now removed ALL BINS and stopped the recycling services at Wessex Way shops. Just leaving the charity clothes bins. Meaning that many people that used this service because they were unable to drive to Stafferton Way are no left with very little option.
Yes, there was a problem with responsible use with non-recyclables being dropped off, but now we've got a pile of rubbish so what happens now? Let us know what you think.
The team are out and about deliverying the latest copy of the Cox Green Focus newsletter. This issue has updates on the Woodlands Park Development (things have happened since going to print.....), our broader campaign to get the St Marks Walk-In reopened and updates on our issues with waste management in Wessex Way.
If you want to help us with distributing newsletters around the area we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a note and we'll let you know where and what the commitment is. No more than an hour or so 3/4 times a year.

In today's update we follow Gary to Ockwells Park where he removes some graffiti from a slide.
If you see any graffiti in and around Cox Green let us know by emailing either [email protected] or [email protected] and we'll do our best to get it sorted!
And to help, if you could use What3Words to give us a 1 metre sq. location that would be extra great. https://what3words.com
WOODLANDS PARK DEVELOPMENT - Tonight we popped along to Cox Green Community Centre to take a look at the consultation for the development at Woodlands Park.
This is a development site that has been included in the Borough's Local Plan and so is earmarked, with a series of requirments, for development. The development proposal is at a very early stage but the timeline is very tight and things will speed up.
See what Chris and Gary think below and help us capture the views of residents of Cox Green and Woodlands Park through our online survey: https://maidenheadlibdems.co.uk/coxgreendevelopment/
