There is nothing more humbling then feeling good at a Hyrox event and then you hit the prowler push and need to run after it with your legs on absolute fire 🔥

It’s a feeling I love to hate 😂

Here is my session, designed to help you improve your compromised running so that after you are on the prowler push, you can get the legs moving again as quick as possible.

40 EMOM

Intermediate
Min 1: Prowler push x max distance in 60s
Min 2: Run x 60s @ 15 seconds faster than your Hyrox pace
Min 3: Run x 60s @ your Hyrox pace

Really enjoyed that one, doing interval runs in a group making it that little bit less lonely in the hurt locker when your heart rate is 190bpm 😂

I feel like I gained that extra 5% with right on my tail whole way.

Goal setting..

Crossing the finishing line is just the beginning of a new chapter in my journey. As I celebrate the achievement of an old goal for mines, I am reminded of the importance of setting new ones.

Goals play a vital role in our lives, serving as a driving force that pushes us forward and keeps us motivated.

It gives us direction and purpose. They provide us with a sense of focus, accountability and motivation.

Setting new goals allows us to continue improving and It keeps us from becoming stagnant and uninspired.

For me my goal is simple now, get stronger for Hyrox!

Typically I’m competing anywhere between 72-75kg and it’s just too light for the competition.

My sights have been set for the next 10 weeks and the plan is in motion.

Now it’s time to just follow through and do what I said I was going to do, because when it comes down to it, it is on me and no one else.
