So my time at wells has come to an end. Firstly, I would like to say thank you to all the lovely members who attended my classes on a regular basis, it has been a pleasure training you/with you every week pushing ourselves to be better each time. I will definitely miss those double early morning spins on a Monday morning 👀🤣.

I would also like to say thank you to all the PT’s and managers at PureGym Tunbridge wells. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work alongside some amazing people who were always willing to help me in one way or another.

In my time at puregym I have gained invaluable experience in the fitness industry and now allowing me to push on down the route i see myself going which I see as such exciting future for myself!

My new challenge awaits at .fitness an exciting opportunity for myself to learn from some amazing individuals who I think can push me more than ever to become the trainer/athlete I want to be.

Do you manifest? The law of attraction states that you can attract things into your life as long as you believe you will get them e.g. a new job, a soul mate, money and abundance or the holiday of your dreams. After reading The Secret, I realised that I had actually been manifesting my whole life!

When I was 11 years old we were given a bracelet at football that said 'Believe'. Every day I would look at this bracelet and tell myself that I believed in myself, and that I would be happy, and here I am today 🤩

When starting your fitness journey, it can be really hard to block out the outside noise - what if I look silly, why can't I lift as heavy as him, why aren't I seeing results as quickly as my friend... the list goes on!

While this is completely normal, it is so important that you focus on yourself and get rid of these bad thoughts. Everyone's body is different, everyone starts their fitness journey at different stages, your friend might naturally have more muscle than you.

Start small with your goals, and then you are much more likely to meet them e.g. I aim to go to the gym 3 times a week instead of 6. Write down some goals today and by this time next month, you might be suprised at what you have achieved.

A lot of men and women scroll through social media looking for inspiration to find the physique of their dreams.

This often ends up with us wanting to have bigger muscles or becoming leaner, when in fact a phase of strength should be your main priority!

A strength phase prevents injury and increases flexibility allowing you to safely move into a growth period. Remember, being lean or having big muscles doesn’t always mean you are strong 😅

As a PT it’s important I eat enough to fuel my body through 121 sessions with clients, classes and daily life activities - it’s important you fuel your body too!

Everyone’s calories are different depending on your lifestyle, activity levels and goals, but no matter whether you are in a cut or bulk, you won’t be hungry as long as you are making smart food decisions 🍏🥦🍐🥝🥥🥬🫑🥑

Did you know gut bacteria produces 95% of the body's supply of serotonin? If you are bloated, having trouble digesting food or simply have an unhealthy diet this is most likely affecting your mood.

Tired, grumpy and unhappy? These feelings could all be a side effect of a poorly gut. Increasing your fibre intake and taking time to heal your gut through nourishing foods are great ways to help improve both your physical and mental health.

Take a look at the high fibre and fermented foods listed above a try incorporate them into your meals. In a few weeks time you are sure to notice a difference in how you feel!

'No carb diet' - one of the BIGGEST diet fads to ever exist, but it is safe to say we have all probably fallen for it in the past 😂

Carbs are a vital part of our diet, they provide us with the energy we need to live, and so cutting them out is not going to benefit you in ANY way. Did you know the below are all carbs/have carbs in? Because of this, it's pretty much impossible to actually cut them out.

Eat a balanced diet, and don't cut out any food groups unless it is for a medical reason! Unnecessarily cutting out food groups can cause intolerances and other health issues, causing more harm than good in any way.
