I’m Maisy-Sky and I present my own weekly radio show every Sunday at 10am-12pm on the Community Hospital Broadcasting Network (CHBN Radio). “Songs From The Shows” features musical theatre hits to brighten your Sunday mornings and get your toes tapping. I am having the time of my life at CHBN Radio and would love for you to join me on this journey.

The mixing desks in our studios are now more than 20 years old and they've done us proud but we now need to upgrade to the latest digital technology to help us make make programmes for the hospital and the community long into the future...

With grant awards, fund-matching, bequests, and donations we have already achieved £33,000 of our £40,000 total, which means we need to raise another £7,000 by the end of this year, 2021. And YOU can help.

Today is Songs From The Shows on CHBN 4th Birthday 🎉🎂🎉
This year definitely didn't go as I had planned but I hope you enjoyed my live shows from my bedroom. If you had told me four years ago that my dream of presenting a musical theatre radio show had come true I wouldn't have believed you. It has taking a team of teachers, friends, family and a hospital radio station that has put me in this position today and I will be forever grateful to everyone who has helped me achieve my dream. I never thought the power of musical theatre would bring me so close to so many people who 4 years ago I had never meet and have made incredible friendships with. Onwards and upwards ###

Thank you to all my friends, family, CHBN Team and everyone who has supported me this year your support means the world to me.

And the winner is..... The 74th annual Tony Awards were this weekend Moulin Rouge! swept the musical categories, taking home 10 awards, including the all-important Best Musical statue.

As we are coming up to Songs From The Shows Fourth Birthday I thought this Autumn would be a great opportunity to relauch the Songs From The Shows social media! You may have noticed that the SFTS social media has been quiet for a few months.

I have been using these past few months to build a better and a more health relationship with social media. I can't promise I will post all the time, but I will try my best!

Happy 7th Birthday CHBN 🥳
7 years ago today CHBN (formerly known for many years as Truro Hospital Radio) launched as Truro's Community Radio station on 100.8FM.

I am currently live on air till 12pm as part of At Home With CHBN a live broadcast marathon for 100hrs and 48mins.

CHBN are doing it to support the RCHT Chaplaincy's campaign to provide free radios to those who find themselves in hospital and need a bit of entertainment during their stay.

CHBN will be broadcasting from 8am on Friday 19th March right the way through to 12.48pm on Tuesday 23rd March and all your favorite presenters will are taking part.
