Bore snakes 🐍 nearly as venomous as the real deal.
As far as i am concerned they have no place in the cleaning and maintenance department!!

The above picture speaks a thousand words. Most i cant repeat on here. Far too often they enter the workshop firmly wedged in a barrel.

Luckily we have yet to be beaten! Came close mind, first and hopefully the last time we have had to remove a 🐍 from a .17hmr barrel! Besides an inch each end where it had been compacted in 🤦🏻‍♂️ this snake was stuck nearly full length of the barrel!

Thats all folks! Cracking year once again. Thank you all very much friends and customers new and old for their continued support this year. It really is appreciated. Certainly a lot of change in the industry and in the field, to the extent we cant even show what we work on without AI flagging the content and limiting our ability to use the platforms.
I expect the turkey coma will take a week or two to wear off! Aiming to be back in the workshop ready for the new year and its challenges on the 13th of January!

The inside of a Browning ultra XS in for a pre season service! Certainly has cleaned up nicely. Now back together it goes ready for a warm up on some clays!

2023 been and gone in what seems like a blink of an eye. Today is our final day before closing for Christmas!
Both John and Joseph would like to wish all our customers old and new a merry Christmas and a happy new year, as well as thanking you all for your continued support.
Expect to see some movement in the workshop around the 10th of January.
Looking forward to 2024 and what it will bring, some bits and pieces planned for the coming year so keep your eyes peeled!

Well what a fantastic few days at royal Cornwall show. Very humbled at the number of friends new and old who stopped by for a chat, and a peek at what we do behind the scenes in the workshop!

An absolute pleasure to be joined by the Cornwall wild-fowlers association, and the Tamar valley association for shooting and conservation! As well as Dawn Warr taxidermist & portrait artist.

Of course a special thank you to the BASC for hosting!

Well it’s come to that time of year again where we close the workshop for the Christmas period. It’s been a busy year, and an interesting one in these ever changing times.

We would like to thank all our customers old and new, for your support and custom through the year!

We shall be back in the workshop from the 10th of January ready to take on what 2023 has to offer, and keep the south west shooting.

We would like to wish every each and one of you a very merry Christmas and a happy, health new year!

One from a while back. A 6.5 PRC we put together for to assist with their animal management work, and as an estate rifle.
A match grade barrel put on a defiance action. Then dropped into a chassis! A moderator and a bipod were added to finish the build off!
have added a DS and have taken precise shots at some groundbreaking distances.
