Miss British Empire is an International pageant for contestants with origins from countries, states or territories previously ruled or administered by the United Kingdom. Celebrating the legacy of the British Empire, which included Hong Kong, Myanmar, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Shanghai, Irish Republic, New York, India, Afghanistan, Jamaica, and dozens of

other territories.. We promote unity and communication between diverse groups of people across the world and encourage goodwill and understanding of the world's cultures. The pageant pays tribute to the shared history of all former British Empire territories and celebrates their subsequent independence and achievements. The British Empire created railways, courts, etc - With offices in Los Angeles, England, East Asia and Australia - Miss British Empire serves to provide networking links and opportunities for those wishing to pursue a career in the world of show business and entertainment. In years gone by British culture across the former British Empire laid the basis for the International popularity of sports such as cricket, in a similar way we seek to celebrate the growing worldwide phenomena of pageants. Founded in 2011 by former Miss Great Britain and Hollywood actress Liz in order to pass on the opportunities she has successfully carved out for herself, many of our winners have gone on to have successful careers as editorial and catwalk models, reality TV stars, and actors with roles in Doctor Who, music videos and feature length films. The Mr division was introduced in 2013 and later in 2015 the upper and lower age divisions were added to offer Mini, Junior, Teen, Ms, Mrs & Classic contestants a new platform to showcase their talents. Eligibility:-
Contestants may compete in another National final in the same year; however contestants may not hold a National or International title at time of the Grand Final. Must be born or gained residency in the UK or a previous British Empire country. Can be single, married or divorced. must not have previously posed n**e or have been involved in any ambiguous photographs or events that would compromise his/her or the Miss British Empire Brand. Must declare before the start of any heat/final if any judge is known to them, and the score sheets will be given to the contestants afterwards along with comments. Judges will be relevant in the entertainment/fashion/beauty business, with a respected level of professionalism such as photographers, model agents, talent agents, previous winners, etc. The winner's of the Grand final will be sent to an international that best suits the winners' stats, but previous winners have been sent to Miss Tourism Planet in Greece.

Congratulations to Alisa Uehara from Russia who won our Miss United Empires 2022 on 9/Nov/2023, and to runner up Saruul Nyamdorj, who therefore won the Miss British Empire 2022 title, and to Teen Miss United Empires Coco Shanghai, Mini Miss Kino Shanghai, Mr United Empires Kiki Shanghai, Teen Miss British Empire Mimi Shanghai, and Junior Mr British Empire Koutaku Shanghai.

We are pleased to announce our 2025 Scotland Director will be Madiha who started working with us in 2013 and our 2025 England Director will be Samantha, pictured in the green dress at our 1st 2023 world final. Trevor who has been our International Director since 2012 will continue to allocate directors for Wales, Northern Ireland, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Irish Republic, India, Afghanistan, Jamaica, and dozens of other territories such as Shanghai, Manila, the 13 original American colonies, etc. all of which who have sent contestants since 2012. Thanks to all our previous directors and contestants, such as Anika who flew in from Australia in 2014 and introduced Michaela our 1st Australian Director whose girls won our Miss British Empire world finals in England 2015-2017 and in Australia in 2018, with Nuwandika as Ms British Empire 2018 who hosted our world final in Sri Lanka in 2019 with 15 countries and 29 contestants flying in which was won by Annabel from England who had competed each year since 2013.
