We are now into the final week of Love Summer Radio and both me and Jane would like to give our wholehearted thanks to everyone who has been involved over the last 3 years.
Firstly it’s a massive thank and shout out to Craig & Clair for creating and running such an amazing entity, it really is something very special but knowing the level of commitment and time it has taken from them to produce such a professional and polished media channel we always knew it would not be able to continue for ever. I am sure whatever their next project is it will be even better and take their production skills to even greater heights! I think I can speak for all of us in saying thanks you two!!!!! When you came and asked to create the Station under the Love Summer brand we could not have expected the level of dedication and love you put into making it the success it has been.
Next, we would like to thank all the Artists and DJ’s involved, there really has been some SERIOUS JOCKING going on 😊. When you consider the amount and quality of shows that have been produced over the last 3 years, there are literally tens of thousands of hours work that have been put into the project. We know many people, least of all us, that will be very saddened to not have the constant stream of high quality tunes being beamed into our lives on a regular basis, it really will be hugely missed by so many people.
Going forward and to ensure that all the hard work put in by everyone involved is not lost we intend to keep the Mix Cloud page live together with the Love Summer Radio page. If anyone producing shows, mixes, tunes etc. on other media channels such as YouTube, Soundcloud etc. or moving to other Radio Stations would like to share their links with us we will do our best to promote and share them through these channels. We cannot tell you that the service will be anywhere near the level that has been provided by Craig and Clair as we honestly wouldn’t know where to start! But we will do our best to give you continued support as we sooooooo appreciate what you have produced for us during the last 3 years. This also goes for your Club Nights, Events & Shows, you have supported us, not just for the last 3 years but many of you for the last decade and what fun it has been, you are all amazing and when collaborating together on a project the whole is so much greater that the sum of the parts, you lot are absolutely mahoosive and long may it continue.
So onwards and upwards everyone, from the flames of a fire the Phoenix Rises and we know there will be no holding any of you back. So Craig Clair and everyone involved THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC!

April 2020, Covid 19 saw DJs scramble to get their music out to their audiences as venues closed and outside events & festival were postponed until 2021. At Love Summer Radio we showcased West Country crews and brands with additional day time and weekend shows.
May 2020, Love Summer Radio was selected to take part in the Beta version of Mixcloud Live. New from Mixcloud offering DJs, Bands & Artists a fully licensed platform from which to simulcast their performances and mixes. We worked with their developers giving them feedback from the LIVE shows that we broadcast across Mixcloud Live & the Love Summer Radio website and Apps.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks at HQ!
2 weeks ago, our good friends Craig & Clair came to the Office and “out of the blue” put a proposal to us for the formation of a Radio Station at Love Summer Festivals. They told us about the inability of Facebook and other Social Media Providers to obtain the necessary licences from the Performance Rights Society (PRS) preventing many DJ’s and musicians from promoting their material through traditional channels, with a preference for muting or blocking their work and in some cases restricting accounts!!
So…….. We are currently in the process of obtaining Licences from PRS to deliver the best in Underground, Independent and New Entertainment to you on a 24-hour basis through a New Radio Channel, once these are in place, we will be going LIVE!!
This is an immense amount of work for Craig & Clair to undertake and the support we are receiving from the Performers and DJ’s is nothing short of phenomenal, there’s going to be some awesome stuff on here when it comes on stream!
One of the aims of Love Summer Festival from the very beginning has been to provide a Platform for Emerging & Unsigned Talent, but only running 1 weekend a year, we are always vastly oversubscribed, we are hoping the formation of Love Summer Radio will allow many more people to become involved and reach a wider audience using the platforms we have developed.
