Flashback Friday to some old college briefs from my time at The Watford Copywriting Course class of 1992. While doing some online searching I learned the the course closed a few years ago and unfortunately the legendary Course Director Tony Cullingham passed away in 2023 aged 66. RIP Tony. Will never forget the many football and tennis matches that were also part of the course!

Some favourite images from 2 days of hiking in the Brecon Beacons. A mix of Fujifilm X-T1 from Day to Pen y Fan and some iPhone 16 Pro images as day 2 hike weather around the Dragons Back loop was potentially a camera killer. We had all the weather but some spectacular views. If you’ve never been, you really should!

Sunday spent shooting then editing .mountainbiking Soggy Bottom Round 2 at Newnham Park. Here’s a few images from some key areas of a cracking course for the racers. Wish I’d been racing it myself but think my skills with my camera are probably better than my riding skills at the moment!

Saturday night was an evening of celebrating and for me capturing the AGM and Awards at in Bovey Tracey. Some great stories, interviews followed the official club business and updates from club sectors. Well done to everyone who claimed silverware and to our new Vice Chairs and Honorary life members.

Throwback Thursday and I found a couple of my old business cards from the late 90’s/early2000’s. Screen printed by 21st Century Screen Print in Torquay, these cards were certainly different to the norm. Reverse printed onto plastic. Some say they were mainly used in nightclub toilets but they always were a good talking point no matter what other uses they had!

Spent a very stormy Saturday at Clanfield for round four of the National Trophy Cyclocross. I actually raced in the Vet 50 category in the morning but once I’d warmed up again I got the camera out to photograph some of the Youth races. This is a selection from the u14-16 girls, u16 & u14 boys open races. Was nice to try out the Fujifilm 50-140mm F2.8. Super-happy with it.
