Wild camping and filming the beauty we find on our travels is a big part of our story, but not the whole story. Wild camping, hiking, and filming adventures in the UK provide an exhilarating way to explore the country's breathtaking natural landscapes. Unlike traditional camping, wild camping involves setting up camp away from designated sites, often in remote areas that offer true seclusion and a

deep connection with nature. The UK’s diverse terrain—from the rugged mountains of Scotland and the tranquil waters of the Lake District to the dramatic coastlines of Cornwall and the expansive moorlands of Yorkshire—provides a stunning backdrop for both outdoor enthusiasts and filmmakers. Hiking through these varied landscapes allows adventurers to discover hidden gems that are often inaccessible by road. Whether it’s traversing the craggy peaks of Snowdonia, wandering through the ancient forests of the Cairngorms, or navigating the winding trails of the South West Coast Path, each journey offers a unique opportunity to experience the UK's wild beauty. Along the way, the opportunity to film these adventures adds another layer of excitement, capturing the raw, untamed essence of the British countryside—from majestic wildlife and cascading waterfalls to dramatic sunrises and the mystic glow of the northern lights. While wild camping is legal and widely accepted in Scotland and areas of Dartmoor, it requires a more discreet approach in the rest of England and Wales, where permission is often needed from landowners. Regardless of location, it's essential to adhere to "Leave No Trace" principles, preserving the natural environment for future explorers. With the right gear, preparation, and respect for nature, wild camping and hiking in the UK provide a thrilling adventure that combines exploration, solitude, and the chance to create unforgettable visual stories.

Sometimes you just need to take time out and relax, luckily I live next to Dartmoor National Park, popping up a shelter next to Fernworthy Reservoir and enjoying a hot Latte before heading off to Poundsgate to enjoy some stunning views of the steep valleys

Sometimes they pose for you, the wait is worth all the effort ☺️

DID YOU KNOW?

🐝There are live enzymes in honey.

🐝Honey contains a substance that helps your brain work better.

🐝Honey is one of the rare foods on earth that alone can sustain human life.

🐝One teaspoon of honey is enough to sustain human life for 24 hours.

🐝Propolis that bees produce, is one of the most powerful natural antibiotics

🐝Honey has no expiration date.

🐝The bodies of the great emperors of the world were buried in golden coffins and then covered with honey to prevent putrefaction.

🐝The term "honeymoon" comes from the fact that newlyweds consumed honey for fertility after the wedding.

🐝A bee lives less than 40 days, visits at least 1000 flowers and produces less than a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime.

🐝One of the first coins had a bee symbol on it.

Deep gratitude to the humble BEE!🐝

Axanthic Blue Iguana, indigenous only to Grand Cayman Island, is one of the most endangered reptiles in the world. Faced with habitat loss and predation by feral animals as well as humans, the remnant wild population of blue iguanas survives in fragmented pockets of its original range. What a beautiful lizard. Photo taken 19thApril 2024. ❤️❤️
