It's panto time!
We added to the PA with extra front fills, out fills, control equipment and radio microphones, as well as monitors for the stage! Plus, we also supplied extra stage decking and power equipment for this year's Panto. We'll be back in January to take it all out. But until then, The Wizard of Oz is showing until the 31st of December so there's still plenty of time to experience the fun!

Out for almost 3 months is this unique tiered stage.
Constructed in a private school for their production of the Lion King! (It's pride rock in case you couldn't tell...)

It now sits awaiting dress, with painting and scenery yet to be added!

We'll be back here towards the end of February to add radio microphones, additional stage decking and projection equipment to add further dazzle to this already impressive primary school production!

Christmas was officially last week in Canterbury. Thousands joined the celebrations, entertained by panto cast from the and speeches from the Bishop of Dover.

A true highlight in our calendar is the Leeds Castle, Kent Fireworks Spectacular. It's an opportunity for the team to work their audio knowledge by deploying a PA system that covers a very wide area, delivering sound to tens of thousands of attendees.

This year was another great success, and the weather was kind to us too!

The main hang on the castle consisted of 14 elements of JBL Professional VTX A12, supported by an 8m Layher Scaffolding PA Tower with twin motor points.

12 JLB B28 subs were put to work on the island in an end fire array configuration to efficiently beam bass across the mote.

The main system was then supported by a further 12x JBL A8 hung from two truss V towers, along with another ground stacked array system and 3 point source delay stacks, all with double 18 and double 15" subs.

A site wide Dante network with fibre link to the island provided the primary signal distribution, redundancy was supplied by an analogue back up to ensure uninterrupted audio.

The team did a sterling job and the system performed exactly as intended.

Last week we had the great pleasure of providing PA and engineers for a private dinner event hosted in the Kent Event Centre's Maidstone Exhibition hall. Heather Small - The Voice Of M People entertained guests with a few songs in the evening, her vocals clearly heard through the entire events space thanks to the 110 degree wide high frequency dispersion of the JBL A8 PA system.

Last Friday was great!

We had many faces pop by the warehouse to talk about one of our favourite subjects... Sound!

We gave the new JBL A12 and A8 a work out in our warehouse, and we also demonstrated the very clever rigging solution and smart 3D acoustic simulation software. The venue managers, sound engineers and tour managers that attended throughout the day had nothing but positive feedback for the JBL. It was a super day spent with some great people.

To those that popped by, thanks for giving us your time. And to those that couldn't make it, there will be more opportunities to listen - we will keep you updated.

We're hosting a demo day!

On the 11th of October we're hosting a demo of our new JBL VTX A8 and A12 Line array systems. There are 3 listening sessions available in the morning, afternoon and evening. They include an opportunity to get up close and personal with the new speakers, as well as take a look at the amplifiers and control systems behind the new JBL series of PA.

The first Summer in Nashville festival was hosted in Warwick with special guest Zack Telander and One Night In Nashville on the mainstage, plus a great line up of up and coming artists on the second stage. We've been busy building platforms at for another year running. The simply stunning site hosted at Dorset is taken over by almost 20,000 happy festival goers looking to explore the incredibly varied acts on offer.
The RASE team was tasked with installing a range of platforms for many of the stages at this year's festival, including a large platform in the Lush Life arena that alone, contained in excess of 100 sheets of deck!

That's another two dates done! Sausage and Cider Festival in Tunbridge Wells and Guildford were both huge successes! Guildford saw the largest crowd yet on the Saturday show - 9000 happy cider and sausage consuming punters! Tunbridge Wells had some challenging noise conditions to contend with. Thankfully RASE's very recent investment into JBL VTX A12 and VTX A8 ensured concert levels on site, while keeping below the limits offsite. More on the new PA equipment soon...

RASE Also supplied the first of many Summer Sundays shows, with acts such as Ocean Colour Scene , Embrace and Ash... What a line up!
