Very excited to say that our first narrative micro-short film is being released on
**TUESDAY 2nd JULY at 11AM**.
You'll find it on our Sword and Fiddle Productions social media and (later in the day) on our website. We had a great time making this, depite the pressures of time and location. Writing a cohesive story that (nearly) fit under 2 minutes, and then trying to get everything we wanted filmed in a single morning with just one camera and limited lighting was certainly a learning experience! Please do check it out on release day and if you like it, share with wild abandon!

Finished the main edits on a micro-short comedy Amy Sparkes Author wrote, directed and we filmed with Sarah Lidstone, Josh Alexander and Molly Jackson nearly two weeks ago! Really looking forward to getting this out into the world!

A great morning filming "Things We Do For Love" written and directed by Amy Sparkes with Sarah Lidstone, Josh Alexander, and Molly Jackson in the Mid Devon Reflexology Durin Room at the back of Liznojan today. Microshort film: THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE
A couple try to overcome an unsurmountable barrier in their relationship.

We are looking for someone to play the role of RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLOR.
Age 35+, any gender. Actors from under-represented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Filming: Monday 10th June, 09:30am for half a day.
Location: Tiverton, Devon.
Please note the filming location does not have wheelchair access.

Payment: £50 to include travel. Parking expenses and refreshments provided in addition.
Deadline: 23:59 Monday 20th May 2024

First day of filming on our little short film "Booted". Weather conspired against us, but we pushed through and got what we needed. Thanks to Bristol Old Vic Theatre School graduate Olivia H. Edwards for agreeing to be our "Red Boots - older", and to Aodhán Sparkes for being our "Walking Boots" character. More shoot days in the coming weeks, but we've started!

Tomorrow's the day! The release date of our first film, a documentary short about the Tiverton Canal Co is 3rd April. Chosen by the company to coincide with the launch of the Tiverton Swan Trail, it celebrates their 50 years in operation, ready for the main event on 13th July.
