What's the frequency Blankers?

Hello and welcome to some more fabulous bonus material - the boys recorded this for you lot fresh off the back of their recent episode about Animals. They start in the usual place (which is the very dark mind of Del) before heading into a wonderful game of the Jim vs Phil vs Del Challenge. We know that this would be nothing without you lovely listeners, so the frisky trio end on a high by rummaging through and answering some of your weird and wonderful letters and emails.

Jim, Del & Phil return for the 2nd episode proper of the latest series and their shiny new format - in this instalment they explore the phenomenon of the one hit wonder.

They take a deep dive through the decades and select a few true one hit wonders (now forever to be known simply as OHW). This of course involves a little sing song here & there. Don't forget to take a look at the update Spotify playlist to discover which 10 songs have made it on.

The boys then pick a single film each linked to the subject in hand (OHW - see, it's already catching on) and come together to pick their winner for this episode.

Finally, they finish in traditional style as Jim selects a few from the record number of Letters & Emails that have been received in recent weeks.

Whoop! Whoop! Whoop! Rejoice, dear Blankers, for the boys are back!!

Jim, Del & Phil return with their 4th series and....a brand new format! Having previously examined and analysed every year from 1980 through to 2009, they're changing tack, and this time around, each episode will be dedicated and focused on a single subject. The boys will still look at films & and music, but they'll all be linked back to the main topic in question (however tenuously).

The subject to kick off this new series is Adverts which allows Jim, Del & Phil to meander off down nostalgia avenue as they recall lots of their favourite ads from their younger days growing up as well as having a bit of a sing song whilst chatting about some of the catchy jingles that accompanied them. All the talk of adverts makes Del remember a story from when he auditioned to star in one when he was younger and the ensuing horror that came with the casting session.

The boys will also be selecting a single film linked (again, incredibly tenuously) back to the topic to put forward for debate, and then the 3 of them select the best one.

After the film, the boys then move on to tackle music linked to Adverts. The goal is to create a Top 10 tracks linked to each episode topic, which will then be used to create another beautifully curated Spotify playlist for all you lovely Blankers to have a listen to

Although the format is different in some ways, they'd never tinker with your 'Letters & Emails' section and this episode sees the mail bag ripped open once again as the 3 amigos answer your increasingly disturbing questions.

We're back with Part 2 of the 1988 episode and your fearless trio dive straight into their favourite films of the year - this time around there's some similarity in the Top 3s. The music of the year is a different kettle of fish and a full blown argument almost erupts between Del & Phil when the former criticises an REM song which Phil valiantly tries to defend.
As usual, the episode comes to an end with a little delve into the listener 'Letters & Emails' where the boys are tested to their ultimate limits!

Welcome to the latest episode of 'Not Faulty, Just Blank' in which the boys discuss any and everything (sort of) that happened in the wonderful year that was 1987.
Del starts by giving Jim & Phil a variety of strange options to talk about from his past couple of weeks of adulting. We learn about him posting cheese to his mum and a local man undertaking an odd activity in the street.

The news from 1987 is then dissected, followed by another classic game of Jim vs. Phil vs. Del.

The first half of the episode is then rounded off with a thorough look back at the TV of the year - once again we were spoilt for choice with some absolute classic shows and some wonderful theme tunes to boot!

Hey Blankers, we've another brand new episode OUT NOW for you to enjoy.
This time around local musician and Peter Andre lookalike, the moderately cheeky Chappie joins us for a chat about his journey in music (from performing in family bands, to learning the bass and penny whistle, right through to local jam nights and his band Kismet).
Chappie also get his enormous organ out in the studio (obviously Phil tries to touch it) and he tinkles the ivories throughout our time together.
He's the next guest to join us on our 80s inspired 'Mystery Road Trip' which he completes with aplomb and then he rounds off his time with us by smashing out a tremendous medley of 80s classics.
