How many of those employed to protect and serve Telford are criminals? Given the relationship they have with Telford social services, and the truth, I imagine we have a disproportionate amount in the ranks!

Hundreds of police officers who should have failed vetting checks may be in the job in England and Wales, a damning report has found.

The police watchdog looked at eight forces and found decisions on officers which were "questionable at best".

One officer convicted of domestic abuse and one accused of sexual assault were among those accepted.

As if our services aren't shocking enough, we're losing our A&E and baby unit.

Lucy Allan MP has done nothing to stop this.

Plans to overhaul the county’s major hospitals will not include all the work originally intended – due to cost.

Once again, Yaxley is here to further his right wing political career..

He doesn't care about the girls who we're abused.

Is he really all Telford has to bring Telford social services and the police to task?

Where are our MPs? Where are our leaders?

If you enquiry is less urgent please bear with us. While the issue persists our main police stations at Worcester, Hereford, Kidderminster, Redditch, Telford and Shrewsbury will remain open to the public 24 hours a day.

Thank you for your patience, we will let you know as soon as we can when our 101 and online service has been restored.

We understand the impact these problems cause and are investing in a modern improved digital infrastructure to resolve these issues.

OUTRAGEOUS!!

It's a disgusting abuse of power. These poor babies need to be with their family, not being abused by another lying social worker with an agenda to abuse the children's parents..

I wonder how much will be used to support social services lies and their child stealing ring?

£3.76 million of additional funding has been secured to tackle neighbourhood crime, anti-social behaviour and violence against women and girls across West Mercia.

As part of the fourth round of the Government’s Safer Streets initiative, Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion, in partnership with West Mercia Police, submitted four bids based on local needs.

Grants of £1.7 million have been awarded and are match funded, providing a total of £3.76 million for projects across the region.

This includes an investment of nearly £400,000 in a West Mercia wide project to improve safety for women and girls.

The money will be also increase the number of StreetWatch schemes, provide a digital platform for volunteers to support victims, run education programmes for partners working in the night time economy and schools and colleges focused on healthy relationships and raise awareness in communities.

The other bids will cover targeted projects in Shropshire, Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin.

Commissioner John Campion said: “This substantial announcement will make a massive difference in our communities, helping people to be safe and feel safe. I am proud to support it with my own investments, as part of my ongoing work to make communities safer.

"The money will be targeted to tackle a range of anti-social behaviours which have a significant and long lasting impact on our communities. It is especially pleasing to see a particular focus on violence against women and girls. This will allow a multi-faceted approach which tackles the issue at the root, changing behaviours whilst also putting structured support in for victims.”

Chief Constable Pippa Mills said: “We are really pleased that this additional funding has been secured. The crime prevention measures that we’re able to implement as a result of this investment will help us to make real tangible changes to the communities we serve.

"They will help protect people from harm by preventing crime and help make our villages, towns and cities be and feel safer.

“This is fully supported by our new Prevention Strategy. Most importantly our strategy isn’t just words on a page. Through schemes supported by this funding will enable us to make Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire safer.”

⚠️ We are currently experiencing a technical issue with our 999 and 101 call lines in the Operations Communications Centre.

Calls are currently being diverted to neighbouring forces, as is standard procedure.

Please help to keep the call lines free for genuine emergencies.

Thank you.

So today we finally get to see the report that has been edited to save some people's skin. (report link at the bottom of the post)

The report is SHOCKING but we all knew it would be. Years of our children being abused while social service and Telford police sat back and let it happen. Then they covered up what they did!..

It's still going on and they are still covering up for each other.

The report has highlighted a few things but it's a weak report and NOTHING is going to change.

More than 1,000 children had been abused in Telford

Obvious evidence of exploitation was ignored

Information was not properly shared between agencies

Key agencies dismissed exploitation as 'child prostitution'
They also blamed children not perpetrators for exploitation

Exploitation was not investigated because of nervousness about race

Teachers and youth workers were discouraged from reporting exploitation

Offending continued for years without concerted response

Positive responses came from "concerted" individuals and not top-down directives

Even after Operation Chalice, specialist child sexual exploitation teams were scaled down to "virtual zero" to save money.

We need to take action against those who sat back and allowed this disgusting abuse and coverup!

The reality of our failing police service.

What is West Mercia Police and West Mercia PCC doing about it.. Nothing...

Fewer than one per cent of recorded r**es end in conviction in West Mercia.

A charity boss has warned that r**e has been "effectively decriminalised" as fewer than a dozen people were convicted in West Mercia last year, while more than 1,000 new offences were recorded by police.

Child protection: Without change thousands more kids face care - review

Tens of thousands more youngsters will end up in care unless radical changes are made to child protection in England, a major review has warned.

The independent review on council-run children's services said struggling families needed early intervention to ensure they don't reach crisis point.

The recommendations include phasing out young offender institutions and a drive to recruit more foster parents.

Ministers pledged "bold and ambitious change" within months.

But Labour and the British Association of Social Workers both blamed government austerity measures since 2010 for stripping away services for vulnerable families.

We are trying to get some information about how Telford Police/west Mercia police deal with dog bites/attacks.

Have you or someone you know been a victim of a dog bite? Do you think the police helped?

We'd like to hear your experiences and opinion?

Did you know?

There is a "safeguarding" doctor at The Princess Royal Hospital ( ) who can override The Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health and a senior consultant's opinion and side with Telford social services?

If Telford SS don't get their own way, they will get a "qualified" doctor to back them up and enact their agenda?

We didn't know either until they were asked.. WOW!
