It has been a while since we last posted but I wanted to say ‘hello’ and express my very best wishes at this extremely difficult time. I hope you are all safe and well.

Today, 20th March 2021 is 12 months to the day since lockdown began. Over the last year the industry we know and love has been decimated. In England alone it is estimated that over 2,000 venues are likely to never reopen. Operators are facing an existential crisis and with restrictions in England not due to be lifted before 21st June, most of the UK industry will have been closed for 458 consecutive days. Scotland and Wales also expect closures but as yet I haven’t seen any estimations.

Entertainment will probably not re-start in most venues (except for late-night) until July, at the earliest.

It is too early to know whether venues intend to reopen with the same entertainment. Initially we expect there to be fewer bookings than before lockdown, but on a positive note we hope that as confidence returns bookings will increase.

Over the last year most of my team have been furloughed, but a few have also left, including Pete.

There is still some time to wait but the narrative is positive. Please continue to be patient and hopefully we’ll all be in a better place soon.

So it looks like the entertainment and late night industry maybe able to resume service after what seems a very long year! We are still here and have been keeping tabs behind the scenes as we waited for news to enable us to get back to what we do best!!

We are looking to return to supplying services from 21st June when the Government allows you back inside venues and having events and making memories.

Do get in touch with any requirements you may have? Special occasions, end of lockdown parties, birthdays? A special celebration? Whatever the occasion we are back supplying entertainment!!
