Major Disruption to travel this afternoon. Here is a round up of what we know.

Trains:- Major Disruption due to flooding in the Taunton area delays and cancellation expected till end of service today. Road Transport is being arranged for stranded passengers.

Buses:- Heavy traffic affecting most services the Taunton area. Service 30 disruption due to flooding Service 54 major delays due to flooding on the normal route and on the diversion route.

Roads:- A38 near The Worlds End Pup affecting traffic between Taunton and Wellington.
A358 closed both ways at Peasmarsh due to flooding A358 closed both ways due to flooding at Lodge Lane near Axminster. A358 very heavy both ways at Henlade. A378 very busy both ways at Wrantage.

In the photo, the gentleman on the left in the red jacket is Dave Ridgeway and in case you didn't know, is registered blind.
In fact, we believe Dave is the only blind person presenting a radio show in Somerset, he always has a story to tell and an eclectic music mix, so give him a listen!

This morning Richard Hammond pulled up in North Street in a classic Porsche to open the new Taunton Motor Museum. The museum is the brainchild of owner Pat Hawkins who has put his life savings into the venture. Apple FM's Dave Charles went along to the opening. The museum opens to the public from tomorrow (21st November).
