Advice about Facebook Messenger Spam

If the messages you are getting are from "guest1234" random numbers, there is a way to stop them. You can't block them as they are not Facebook accounts, but are coming from a messenger plug-in. If you go to your Meta business suite, then inbox, then click the settings (small cog near the top right). Select 'Chat Plugin' then 'Customise your Chat plugin'. The first option will be Guest Chat, simply switch this off and hit publish at the bottom. Note: if you don't have a website domain, you may have to enter one at the top for it to publish. Hope this helps as the amount coming through to accounts is terrible atm.
