IMPORTANT NEWS - WE'RE ON THE MOVE...........

We're pleased to announce that Radio Tamworth are moving to brand new studios this weekend. The team are really looking forward to the move, but unfortunately this does come with a downside.

Sadly we can't set up a brand new studio while we keep the old one running, which means that we're going to be off air for a while.

The signal will be switched off tomorrow morning (January 31st). We will do everything we can to get back on air as quickly as possible, but it is likely that we'll be off for a couple of weeks. We will post regular progress updates, so that you know when to expect us back on air.

In the meantime, thank you for your continued support and we'll be back with you very soon.

❗Tamworth Borough Council’s Christmas lights switch-on event is postponed until 7 December due to forecast high winds.

🔊Storm Bert is bringing forecast wind gusts of up to 50mph, making it unsafe for the event stage and market stalls. So, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the event until Saturday 7 December.

🔊The full planned event will now take place on Saturday 7 December.
