The Original Dakar Film - An Update 🚨👇

The last few weeks have been a roller coaster. To make it as authentic as possible, we've been on the hunt for bikes, cool details and information. We've got an insane bike for the film, an amazing artist helping with film posters & t-shirts, some super custom Leatt products to help it look right and some very interesting navigation stuff in the works. Desert Rose Racing are helping us plan the route and logistics. It's going to be a hell of a ride.

I never thought I would like soft pannier bags. I was a rackless, roll top kinda guy, until I started riding a long way with these and now...

If it's a multi day kinda jam I'm taking the OS soft panniers, every time. Strong, waterproof, out of the way and SO easy to live with. The perfect middle ground.

So, are you a soft luggage or rackless kind of rider?

Gettin Jiggy with it. I'm a jump kinda guy.

In fact, it probably goes jump, skid and then wheelie in preference of fun. There is a good chance that's because I'm crap at wheelie 😂

Being able to communicate well from rider to ride was a game changer for our India trip. It helped us stay sharp, reduced the risk and mean great shots were 100x easier to get. We used them to direct well over a km apart in the mountains.

The Pack Talk Edge saved our asses multiple times along the way.

India is a place of wild contradictions. Incredible scenery, incredible kindness to us, but some difficult moments.

A place where culture shock is real. A place to find yourself, appreciate the world more and really understand what you have and how lucky you are.

For every project bike I wanna build something I'll remember in 10 years time. A vibe, a style with a point, maybe even something mildly artistic. This one was for the Ancient Greeks.

Also, does anyone actually use IG for images anymore? I don't really use it much these days, so we've set-up a Vero account. I like the idea of not having someone else deciding what I see, you see and we all see. See you there if you fancy it. No hard feelings if you don't.
