🎶 Join Us for an Inspiring Evening of Music and Creativity! 🎶

Alex Owens, one of our Creative Music Technology BA Level 6 students, invites you to an extraordinary evening featuring renowned songwriters Mal Pope and Steve Balsamo, with support from rising talent Brook Fox.

🎤 The Event:
Immerse yourself in live performances and reflective discussions as Mal and Steve share their creative processes, songwriting techniques, and inspiring stories from the music industry. This is a rare chance to gain unique insights into the craft behind their incredible music.

This event marks the launch of Alex’s innovative “Sessions” brand—a project combining live music, research, and digital media to set the stage for future creative events.

As part of our Location Recording module, Level 5 students recorded the Swansea Arena Main Stage Sessions last night.

All performances took place on the main stage in the round. 360 degree projections surrounded and immersed the performers. There were some amazing performances, it was a truly special experience.

We used Dante to record straight from the mixer, and were supported technically by one of our recent graduates now working on the technical team at Swansea Arena. Amazing to see them doing so well!

Massive thanks to the Swansea Arena Staff and all performers, it was such a treat to be involved in an extraordinary night.

We can’t wait to hear the final mixes, watch this space!

We’ve been out recording on the Swansea Arena main stage today as part of our Level 5 Location Recording module.

It was amazing to see one of our recent graduates working as part of the Swansea Arena technical team. Thanks for taking care of the sound engineering for us
