Had a fantastic day at the Fun Fair Model Extravaganza Show 2025 today! Met some fans of the channel which is always a pleasure to have a photo with 😁

Great to see the funfair lads after so many months off...

Not so much of a vlog but a short video, granted it was very cold and we were the only ones there but join us as we head to Gateway Resort to check out their small on site funfair hosting a 1970s waltzer that has some amazing history behind it.

Unfortunately last year the famous Churchdown model funfair was cancelled due to venue issues however we return with a bigger venue, more models and plenty more to see and do on the day! 💪

So in the week at some point I'm planning to film a short video (not a vlog) about a fantastic community hub close to me. Every night they open their doors to the public for a food share. For only a £2 donation you can bring a shopping bag and fill it to the brim with all kinds of food, from veg to pastries, pizzas, fruit, meats, ready meals...you name it they've probably got it. All this food was going to be thrown away by various supermarkets but these guys take it all off their hands and help the community by offering it for a small fee.

Just think how many times you go to the reduced isle in Tesco or Asda and pick something up for £2

When you can head here and fill your bag for £2

With the cost of living hitting families hard and some families not able to afford shopping daily I think it's an absolutely amazing idea and welcomed by many including myself.

So I only think it's rite for me to cover this incredible community hub to show you guys the amazing work they do every evening.

Currently standing at my most viewed content on the channel.

Our visit to Swanage steam railway for their polar express experience has reached a staggering 64,000 views and climbing.

I honestly didn't expect these numbers as Christmas vlogs generally don't do that well.

Will definitely be making more content similar to this in the new year.

This year's been super busy content wise. I've ticked off some bucket list fairs, namely goose fair and some bucket list machines too!

I've visited some attractions that I haven't done before and made some lifelong friends and acquaintances.

It's had its ups and downs but hey that's life for you.

I've approached the channel in a different way this past year and not really paid attention to numbers or subs or groups and chats...I've just made content that makes me happy and more family focused....and to be honest it's the way I will continue to go forward into 2025.

When you get bogged down with trying to push numbers and compete with other channels then that's when the joy of filming fades away.

I've always said I made the channel to help with my mental health and not let it become something that I lose sight of.

So with that in mind I'm not sure where 2025 is going to take me and not sure what content will be coming up as I don't plan these things...

What I will say though is there will be plenty of funfair content and attractions as per usual, hopefully 2025 will be an amazing year with things in the pipeline so who knows 😁

2025 will also see the birth of a second channel dedicated to ghost hunts so that's going to be interesting to see how that pans out.

So as I look back at this year I can't really put into words how grateful I am to all my viewers, new and returning...my subs and my funfair buddies.

I never planned to become an influencer, it was never my plan...this all started with photography 3 years ago believe it or not...and now I'm in a position with 2.8k subscribers and my most viewed vlog is at 60k 😳

I've been handed some incredible Opportunities and been welcomed by some amazing attractions which I'm forever thankful for.

So whatever your doing and whatever your plans are... remember nothing is impossible!

I've been trying to put this off but as an influencer I guess you'll probably notice on my vlogs.

For some years now my hearing has been deteriorating quite badly...now it's got to the point where I'm having to look at the wife when people talk to me so she can explain what they said. Some of you may have noticed already that I misunderstand things.

It's frustrating for me and everyone else around me as they get annoyed with having to repeat themselves and I get frustrated not being able to hear what people are saying.

So after some appointments at the hospital it's been determined that I'm on the moderate to severe hearing loss scale.

Yep I'm pretty much deaf. I can pick up low frequencies but high end frequencies are a complete loss.

I didn't want hearing aids at 39 but it's something I unfortunately need. I'm still very self conscious as to how they look on me.

All those years of club and festival DJing without ear protection has pretty much killed my hearing.

I'm still getting used to wearing them but it's lovely to be able to hear the birds in the morning Which I've never heard before.

It's emotional too being able to hear people, music and sounds clearly too.

So if you see me wearing them in vlogs.....that's why.

P.s sorry ive been a bit quiet lately as you can imagine being told your deaf and need hearing aids takes a lot to take in

Been a lovely chilled day at Chessington World of Adventures Resort for their winter tail event!

No vlog for this one as I wasn't feeling it to be honest and I'd rather put out content that I'm happy with as a pose to sub par content.

It did rain at the start of the day but soon cleared, some nice props and theming around such as trees, photo opportunities and some lovely lit up sculptures which looked amazing in the dark, the only major ride open was mandrill mayhem which we managed 3 or 4 times, some smaller attractions were on offer too such as the gruffalo, room on the broom and some other flat rides.

The winter trail itself was well thought out with the silent disco headphones in the queue line which myself and everyone around seemed to enjoy (I just wish there was an actual disco though)

The trail was full of trees covered in snow and your own personal elf to show you the way, Santa was ok I guess and the elf workshop was pretty cool too!

The only downside is the photo you get with Santa was a bit steep at £30 which personally I would have liked to be included with the upcharge.

Overall a nice chilled day without major queues, all attractions had either a ten minute or 5 minute queue.

Would I return again? Probably yes.

What an absolutely amazing time we had at Swansea Waterfront Winter Wonderland this evening ⛄⛄🎁🎁

I personally want to thank them for inviting myself and the family down to film all the festivities that this fantastic winter wonderland has to offer.

Brand new for 2024 we have a small light Trail walk through which is free of charge and no booking needed. There's some amazing light sculptures and some really memorable photo opportunities.

No token operated rides this year, everything is pay per ride which personally I prefer, Ice jet was absolutely incredible as always and a pleasure to see Terence Reeves again after goose fair!

I urge you to head to Swansea waterfront Winterland this Christmas for some festive fun and make some truly memorable moments with your loved ones and family
