'Over the moon!' - adorable lion cubs born at London Zoo
Staff are "over the moon" after these three endangered lion cubs were born at London Zoo.
Born to seven-year-old mum, Arya, and dad Bhanu, 14, the litter of Asiatic lion cubs arrived at the Regent's Park attraction on March 13.
With a wild population of only 600 to 700, they may be vital to the survival of the species - and they are adorable.
London Zoo’s head big cat keeper Kathryn Sanders said: “Arya is proving to be a doting mum to her three cubs, and we’ve been able to observe some heartwarming moments via our hidden cubcam - from their first feed to their first steps.”

LAUNCHING OUR CAMPAIGN - THE 21🚨
Throughout the month of February, we’re telling the story of the 21 teenagers who were murdered in 2023.
Our campaign, The 21, seeks to remember every victim as a young person with a family and their whole life ahead of them. We want to change the culture of kids carrying knives and becoming involved in violence.

Thies heartwarming video captured a real life 'Bambi on ice' moment.
During recent sub-zero temperatures in the UK, a muntjac deer was captured slip sliding her way across a frozen brook. In the clip, the female deer edges into view from the undergrowth before her legs skew apart as she reaches clear ice - in scenes reminiscent of the Disney classic Bambi.
Clearly determined, she struggles to regain her footing but safely propels herself to the other side... without any help from Thumper!

London Zoo has welcomed its latest adorable addition - a baby western lowland gorilla.
Gorilla keepers carrying out their morning duties yesterday (Wednesday, January 17) spotted mum Mjukuu was in labour and monitored her via CCTV.
Just 17 minutes later at 9.34am, Mjukuu could be seen cradling and her newborn - whose sex has not yet been determined - before allowing the troop’s curious youngsters Alika and Gernot to examine the intriguing new arrival.
The birth of a western lowland gorilla at London Zoo is a real cause for celebration – the subspecies is critically endangered as a result of poaching and disease.
London Zoo’s primates section manager Kathryn Sanders said: “To say we’re happy about this new arrival would be a huge understatement – we’ve all been walking around grinning from ear to ear."
