We have been recording/producing an album with the legendary Sunderland punk band, Red London. Known for aggressive electric guitars and classic punk aesthetics, the band approached us about recording an acoustic EP and we jumped at the chance. The final session was all about adding backing vocals to enhance the strong melodic content! We are delighted with how the EP has turned out we look forward to it's release! 🤘♥️🎵

Amazing recording session with legendary Sunderland punk band Red London. Here we have the amazing Jones Brothers adding some aggressive twin acoustic guitar parts to 'Long Night in Long Island', a cover version of a song by another legendary pioneering Sunderland band Red Alert.

We are using two small diaphragm condenser mics for close capture and two awesome SE Rupert Neve ribbons in our turret room, which are great for a natural reverb! 💥🤘

It was a pleasure for us to have one of the UK's most hotly tipped up and coming artists, Tom A Smith, recording a tune for an Apple Music Home Session, today. It's not a surprise they have selected him as an Up Next Artist as he continues to make waves in the industry, with his anthemic indie rock tunes and explosive live performances! Tom recently opened Leeds Festival and supported Elton John at Hyde Park!! Watch this space! 🔥

Who would have thought that an the old dinning room of the landlords apartment would sound so beautiful. With a little acoustic treatment of course!! 🤘🤘🤘

Studio 1 Live Room: Before and After.

Formally used a dinning/living room when the space was most recently occupied sometime in the 1980s. This was the final room to be converted over the late spring to summer months of 2021. All the walls were stripped and restored, the floorboards pulled up for insulation, acoustic underlay, standard underlay then laminate flooring. All existing plugs recommissioned with additional floor-box power added. FD-30 stainless steel security doors and additional glazing added, and a viewing window. This treatment was carried across the whole floor, which has a foot print of 100m2 and has 3m high ceilings!

A benefit of this being an attic space is the sloping wall, which help with acoustic 'flutter'. The room sounds GREAT!!
