Thanks to all the Challengers for an amazing month of activity. Through the generosity of the Challengers we are already sponsoring one carer, Siya, and her training is progressing well. To hear the update on her as well as an overview of the activities in August please watch our podcast. It is at https://youtu.be/5QaZvmLK-DU.

A highlight of the month was being with Sam on the 17 August 2024 when she completed an awesome 250th Parkrun. She discusses this in our podcast.

Tomorrow Kev and I will be at the Gloucester City Park Parkrun. Please join us and stay on for breakfast. One Challenger is doing their 150th Parkrun and we will be celebrating a birthday too.

I was on BBC Gloucestershire this morning with Kevin Gannaway-Pitt and Priscilla Macleod. So grateful for the opportunity to promote the Robin Trust Activity Challenge. So appropriate to be doing it today as it is 21 years since sadly we said au revoir to Robyn. However I always want to remember the joy she brought to our lives and my gratitude to everyone who helped me care for her. The Robin Trust carers enabled me to look after Robyn at home and keep her in our family. Therefore to be promoting the challenge which is fundraising to pay the fees for a carer to train at Robin Trust lifts me up. The training will give an educational and job opportunity to a person who is economically struggling as well as provide care to a person needing it. At the same time by joining the Robin Trust Activity Challenge you will become part of welcoming and inclusive community of runners and walkers.

Last year many so many friends, family, knitters, health & Hustlers gave me so much amazing support with fundraising for Robin Trust. It was enormously appreciated and made a huge difference. The lead Trustee from Robin Trust, Cathy Miller, is visiting Stroud on Sunday 24 March 2024. From 5-7pm we are having drinks with her at the Curio Lounge. Please come and join us and hear first hand how our fundraising is making a difference. If you want further information please send me a msg. Thanks Leslie

Had an amazing Welsh run (Severn Bridge 10k event). Brilliant event completed with the support of our Health & Hustle team. I could not have done it without you (Sarah Price, Maxine Bailey, Helen Acock, Louise Walters, Adam Yates and our very special coach, Kevin Gannaway-Pitts)!

Thank-you to everyone who donated towards Robin Trust in celebration of Robyn's 40th birthday. You have all touched me deeply.

I was very emotional at the finish line as I thought of all the love and support given to me.

THANK-YOU 😘😘😘😘
