Seen my first freely tv this week, and have to say its smoother than i had thought it may have been.
No aerial or dish required, just connect to your broadband.

A job from earlier in week, find a route to feed a new aerial cable from loft to under the floor and up to new tv location, then wall mount the new tv and set up with the customer, who is new to Smart tv’s.

I often get customers asking if i can put old video or Dvd’s on to a modern media.
Which is not something i do.
But this company is the person to contact if you have old videos you wish to keep and watch on modern media.

High pressure currently affecting TV & Radio services across parts of the UK - 19 September

We are aware of strong high pressure currently affecting the whole of the UK, this is likely to continue into the weekend.

Viewers and listeners across the UK may experience periods of interference affecting reception of television and radio services which will continue into the weekend. This will affect most parts of the UK.

These weather conditions can move and change, which makes it difficult to know where it will hit next. If your television picture starts to break up without warning this could be the cause of the problem.

You may also notice your car radio station change suddenly, and picking up stations you don’t normally get.

NOTE: At these times, there is nothing you can do but wait until the weather changes. You should not re-tune your television or radio when this happens. If you have access to TV Apps, you could switch to these while you wait for the weather to change.

🆘‼️ FORFAR, KIRRIEMUIR & SURROUNDING AREAS ‼️🆘

Strange one, have had a message from someone who acted like there admin/mod for a page/Group, asking where i am based, when i am sure it says on my page. But they wont say which Page or Group there from. Even after i have said i am based near stonehaven. Only thing i can see is there from Forfar. I wont name them, as they may be genuine 🤷🏽.

So i am asking all my Customers and Followers in the Forfar, Kirriemuir and surrounding areas to share my post as much as you can.

I dont know if this persons a scam or genuine.

But looks like if genuine they only want local trades on there page.
Limits your choices and any potential buisness for us companies that have provided services to the area. Sad when i was in forfar shopping at weekend and put my car to the Ford garage. Supporting local shops.
Anyway please share this post and any future posts as it looks like change may be a foot.

Back to work today, thats my mini break away to the English open chainsaw carving comp over.

B968/10 Aboyne Bridge

Emergency Closure of Main Span

Aboyne Bridge is currently under single lane working with traffic lights to allow a limited intrusive investigation of the concrete deck.

This investigation has confirmed that the concrete locally to the tests is in very poor condition and that the lane cannot be reopened to traffic. As a precaution, on Friday 10th November, we will be closing both lanes of the bridge to vehicular traffic to allow more extensive investigations to be completed and the extent of the problem determined.

The duration of the closure is unknown but is likely to be lengthy.
