8 years ago today, in a studio in Dymchurch, Kent, I did the test broadcast for the show. I knew I wanted to play Motown and Northern Soul.

8 years on and it’s still going strongly, which speaks volumes for the power of the music.

8 years and you’d think I’d sound like I knew what was was doing.

My Christmas No 1s Special is stuffed more than your turkey with festive chart toppers. Charity singles, reality shows and some band called The Beatles have all taken the accolade and each year I play a selection of them on TMI Christmas.

The only show that will NOT be available on the archive is Believe In Magic, my tribute to Bruce Guthro. This is because Mixcloud limit the amount of tracks by each artist you can include in a show, which makes sense, but is a nightmare for a show where you play 2 hours of the same artist!
