🚀 Project of the Month: Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy 🚀

We've had the pleasure of working with OSSMA for nearly two decades! So when they recently approached us with a new project to refresh and modernise their prospectus video, we were thrilled to take on the challenge.

Wayne Trevor, Marketing/Communications and Personal Development Manager, OSSMA said:

🚀 Project of the Month: The JCB Academy! 🚀

We recently had the pleasure of producing a promotional video for The JCB Academy, capturing the innovative spirit and dynamic learning environment that define this outstanding institution. From interactive classroom scenes to impressive aerial footage, this video showcases how The JCB Academy is shaping the engineers and business leaders of tomorrow.

Pete Caine, Marketing and PR Manager at The JCB Academy said:

The process was remarkably simple and efficient. It began with an initial meeting followed by a site recce to discuss our requirements. The filming was incredibly productive and we couldn’t believe what the team were able to capture within one (school) day. After a few days we received our first draft. Upon viewing the first draft, Principal, Jim Bailey, exclaimed, “I love it.” With just a couple of minor tweaks, we received our final video, which exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Reels in Motion for their streamlined approach, excellent results and great value.

We did it! 🎉 Reels in Motion has won THREE awards at EVCOM Clarion Awards 2024! 🌟

We bagged Gold for Brand Communication and Bronze for both Training and Environmental & Education

Our fun and inspiring video for Slicker Recycling, featuring a young hero with a big message about sustainability, earned us these honours.

Shout out to for the makeup artistry, Quirky Kidz for casting, and SJ Raynor Cars and SCN Vehicle Repairs for the location.

Behind the Scenes of Hootenanna: A New Year's Event Like No Other 👵

As a business full of proud Stokies, we couldn't resist the opportunity to partner with claybody theatre to produce a video celebrating our city's vibrant nanas.

On New Year Eve 2024, Claybody Theatre will present an online celebration with a special focus on the city's Grandmothers. It will include live music, chats, and surprising stories all about nanas!

The video aims to build excitement for the night, and to use it to collect stories from the incredible nanas and their families within the heart of our community.

As you'll see, during the shoot we had a blast! We focussed on showcasing the diversity, strength, and playfulness of our beloved nanas. Got a story to share? Head over to the Claybody Theatre page!

We’ve been shortlisted for 3️⃣ EVCOM Clarion Awards! 🏆

Our video production work for Slicker Recycling has been nominated in three categories:

The piece, entitled Erika’s Sustainability Journey, aims to inspire the Slicker audience to become real-life sustainability heroes. 🌍💚

It’s our 19th birthday!! 🥳🎂🎈

What a journey it has been! Thank you for all of your love and support over the years, here are some of our business highlights.❤️🎬

1. Taking part in the start up scheme ran by Staffordshire University, where Reels In Motion began in 2004.
2. Meeting the late, great Gordon Banks all the way back in 2006 at Stoke City Football Club.
3. Matt became chair of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce’s Future Finest in 2009.
4. Our feature film *Pulp* made history in 2012 as the first indie feature to be released through Microsofts VOD market on XBOX!
5. The development of our exciting new office space, complete with edit suits and an audio booth, made the local news in 2016.
6. In 2018 we enter the list of Top 50 UK Production Companies presented by Televisual and EVCOM.
7. 2022 saw us win the EVCOM Clarion Award for our Break The Silence Campaign for Press Red.
8. Our current team (minus Phil) enjoying a team day out at mini golf earlier this year. Work hard, play hard and all that!

Our very own Andrew Smith is running the Alton Towers Half Marathon!! Helping to raise funds for our dear client, NHP (National House Project).

The money raised will go towards their white goods budget for young people to receive a fridge and washing machine when moving into their first homes!
